Naked Basics by Urban Decay.

  [IT] Eccola. Finalmente, la tanto decantata Naked Basics di Urban Decay è nelle mie mani (muahahahaha -- risata di malefica soddisfazione). La prima cosa che colpisce è la dimensione ridotta rispetto alle precedenti Naked. Riflettendoci, è assolutamente normale, dato che abbiamo esattamente la metà delle cialdine (6 ombretti da 1.3 g contro i 12 delle altre palettes), però il packaging minimale e l'assenza di un vano porta-pennello rende il tutto visibilmente più piccolo. A parte questa considerazione iniziale, la qualità della palette non delude. La Basics consta di 6 colori neutri, tutti sulla scala del begiolino e marrone, con l'aggiunta di un nero, la cui presenza non mi esalta particolarmente, ma suppongo sia sempre utile avere un nero matte per i look smokey.   [EN]  I finally got it, my Urban Decay Naked Basics is finally here, YAY! I couldn't help but notice that it's so tiny compared to the other two Naked palettes, although it makes perfect sense as you get 6 eyeshadows x 0.05 oz versus the 12 colours in the previous palettes. I guess the basic and minimal packaging and the fact that you don't have any brush or extra products with it contribute to make the Basics palette appear smaller. It's actually really travel-friendly and easy to store. Plus, the quality is really good, as always when it comes to UD shadows. The Basics contains 6 colours, five mattes and one satin, that go from light beige to a very dark black. I don't care for the black, but I guess it's handy to have in a little palette like this one if you want to go for a smoky eye.     [IT]  I colori sono tutti matte, ad eccezione di Venus, molto simile a Phloof di MAC, un beige shimmer, ideale come illuminante. Gli altri sono: Foxy, un beige, WOS (Walk Of Shame), un marroncino chiarissimo rosato, Naked 2, un marrone molto chiaro dai sottotoni freddi, Faint, un marrone più scuro, e Crave, il nero sopracitato. I colori sono ricchi e pigmentati, morbidi e facili da sfumare. Niente di nuovo, insomma, se si conosce il marchio. La conclusione è: ne avevo bisogno? No, dato che ho una collezione già abbastanza molto ampia, ma mi sento comunque di consigliarla al 100% a chi, al contrario di me, è in cerca di una buona palette di colori basics per iniziare. La potete trovare su diversi siti basati UK, come hqhair.com, lookfantastic.com o beautybay.com, per circa 25 euro.   [EN]  Venus is the only satin colour, a very light beige which can be used as a highlight, and it's very similar to Phloof by MAC; Foxy is a matte beige, WOS (Walk of Shame) is a pink-toned light brown colour and Naked 2 is a very neutral light brown; Faint is a very similar colour to MAC Wedge and Crave is a simple deep black. All the colours are very pigmented and buttery, easy to apply and work with. Not a surprise, if you know UD shadows. Overall, a very nice little palette to have in your collection, although not a must-have if you already are a makeup junkie like me.
