Yesterday I had the honour to meet and talk with the florentine designer Ermanno Scervino at the boutique Ratti in Bologna.The location was perfect, a timeless boutique, always delightful in spite of the process of time, and the greeting has been perfect too.
The designer was there to talk to press about his FW 2011/2012, spring pre-collection and SS 2011/2012 collection which you can see also here.Personally, I think that Scervino's elegance is a very special one. The items he creates are so refined and they don't have nothing to do with time, age, place. The accuracy of the cuts and the preciousness of the fabrics make his creations real exaples of formal perfection.I felt in love with a cape coat from the winter collection, very soft and with leather sleeves in contrast. Perfect to revive with untidy skinny jeans and rock 'n' roll ankle booties.I'm sorry for the bad quality of the photo of my look, but I've shooted it savvy before going out for the event.PS: In the penultimate photo there are Ermanno Scervino with one of the dressmakers of the boutique. A very sweet and nice moment, she was expressing her huge respect for Scervino's creations.
Ieri, presso la splendida boutique Ratti di Bologna o avuto l'onore di conoscere lo stilista fiorentino Ermanno Scervino e discutere con lui sulle sue creazioni.La location era perfetta, una boutique di quelle che non conoscono il passare del tempo, sempre incantevole nonostante gli anni, e anche l'accoglienza è stata ottima.Lo stilista era lì per parlare con la stampa delle sue creazioni AI 2011/2012 , della pre-collezione e della collezione PE 2012 che potete vedere anche qui.Personalmente credo che l'eleganza di Scervino sia davvero speciale.I capi che crea sono di una raffinatezza unica che non conosce luoghi né età, l'accuratezza dei tagli e la preziosità dei materiali rendono i suoi abiti dei puri esempi di perfezione formale.Mi sono innamorata di un cappotto a cappa della collezione invernale, morbidissimo e con manicotti in pelle a contrasto. Perfetta da rinvigorire con skinny disordinati e ankle booties un po' rock 'n' roll.Chiedo scusa per la foto del mio look, ma l'ho scattata al volo prima di uscire.PS: La penultima foto, ritrae un momento di incontro, per me bellissimo e tenerissimo, tra la sarta della boutique ed Ermanno Scervino. Adorabile.
