Afghanistan:emittente Tolo tv annuncia “arrestato Mullah Omar”

Il capo dei talebani, il Mullah Omar, è stato arrestato in Pakistan, secondo quanto annunciato dall’emittente afghana Tolo tv. Citando i media pakistani, l’emittente ha riferito dell’arresto, mostrando una foto del Mullah Omar con la consueta benda sull’occhio, senza fornire altri dettagli. Intanto un portavoce dei talebani, Qari Yusuf Ahmadi, ha smentito l’informazione definendola pura propaganda occidentale. Per Ahmadi Omar è libero, in ottima salute e continua a guidare i combattenti. Un altro portavoce dei talebani, Zabeeh Ullah, smentisce sempre la notizia, affermando che già il 13 maggio l’arresto del Mullah era stato annunciato su un blog. Secondo il portavoce, gli Stati Uniti usano questa tattica per salvare la faccia. Di vero c’è che nei mesi scorsi era stato catturato a Karachi il braccio destro di Omar, Mullah Brather.
