Gli amici di The Breakfast Jumpers (http://breakfastjumpers.blogspot.it/2012/10/a-century-of-covers-belle-sebastian.html) hanno sempre prestato molta attenzione al presente, ma in più di una occasione non hanno esitato a recuperare vecchie pietre miliari dimenticate.
In questo caso non si tratta di un passato poi così lontano, ma di un passato che l'inondazione musicale recente fa sembrare estremamente remoto e estremamente difficile da ricordare.
Si parla dell'etichetta Kirsten's Postcard e della meravigliosa compilation che nel 2006, coinvolgendo artisti italiani e stranieri, dedicò ai Belle & Sebastian. Già da alcuni anni la compilation non è più reperibile (l'etichetta ha chiuso i battenti), ma grazie alla collaborazione di Enzo Baruffaldi di Polaroid Blog e di Giuseppe Bottero della Kirsten's Postcard si è riusciti a recuperare la release e a darle nuova vita tramite uno spazio streaming e uno spazio su bandcamp.
