The Neapolitan designer presents 40 designs for three lines of the collection which includes 25 wedding dresses, 10 evening dresses and 5 models for men.

Bride
The collection is inspired by the actress Rita Hayworth and the ’30s and ’40s, the designer defines the most beautiful season of fashion. The lines are simple and stylized with plunging necklines and backs discoveries. The fabrics from silk and elastic satin accompany the body. There are plenty of lace, so loved by the designer, and the opulent capes to wear in church to cover the neckline and the transparency of the clothes. The lengths vary, but almost always prefer the long train. The white silk is complemented by a warm and lovely honey color.
Evening
Here the inspiration is Audrey Hepburn and the 50s and 60s. Short dresses with gored skirts, soft are matched at the plunging necklines or bodices members with one shoulder asymmetrical lines. Large flowers in relief adorn the fabrics satin, lace and lace that come with tulle. Blue, silver, gold and black are the favorite colors of Bruno Caruso for the evening shows, however, even a soft pink blush and a sensuous red Valentino.
Man
The collection is characterized by clean and delicate lines, inspired by the classic Neapolitan tailoring. Also classic colors like black, dark blue and gray cargo. Innovative, instead, in the fabrics it proposes an inverted shantung to obtain a greater versatility and lightness.

Sposa
La collezione è ispirata all’attrice Rita Hayworth e agli anni ’30 e ’40, che lo stilista definisce la più bella stagione della moda. Le linee sono sobrie e stilizzate con profonde scollature e schiene scoperte. I tessuti dalle sete e ai satin elasticizzati accompagnano il corpo. Non mancano i pizzi, tanto amati dallo stilista, così come le sontuose cappe da indossare in chiesa per coprire le scollature e le trasparenze degli abiti. Le lunghezze sono variabili, ma il lungo predilige quasi sempre lo strascico. Il bianco seta viene affiancato da un caldo e prezioso color miele.
Sera
Qui l’ispirazione è Audrey Hepburn e gli anni ’50 e ’60. Abiti corti e bombati, con gonne a godet, morbide e rotonde si abbinano a corpetti aderenti dalle profonde scollature o con linee asimmetriche monospalla. Grandi fiori a rilievo impreziosiscono i tessuti satin, pizzo e merletto che si accompagnano al tulle. Blue, silver, oro e nero restano i colori preferiti di Bruno Caruso per la sera che propone, però, anche un dolce rosa cipria ed un sensuale rosso Valentino.
Uomo
La collezione presenta linee pulite e delicate, ispirate a quelle classiche della sartoria napoletana, della quale è grande interprete e fedele conservatore. Classici anche i colori nero, blu scuro e grigio carico. Innovativo, invece, nei tessuti propone uno shantung rovesciato per ottenere una maggiore versatilità e leggerezza.

At the end of the evening Bruno Caruso has announced its intention to set up an academy for young couturier in Naples with the intention of teaching young apprentices the art of Neapolitan tailoring, a precious handmade craft that from Fausto Sarli to Bruno Caruso represents the made in Naples promoted and appreciated around the world.

Al termine della serata Bruno Caruso ha annunciato la volontà di istituire a Napoli un’accademia per giovani couturier con l’intento di insegnare ai giovanissimi apprendisti l’arte della sartoria napoletana e non disperdere, così, un prezioso mestiere artigianale che da Fausto Sarli a Bruno Caruso vede il made in Naples promosso ed apprezzato nel mondo.
