E a rotta di collo arrivo anch’io con un’idea per realizzare un bel calendario dell’avvento riciclato (qui trovate anche gli alberelli fatti con le scatole delle uova e il calendario del tè). Anche questa volta riprendo un materiale che mi avete già visto usare negli scorsi mesi in ambientazione non natalizia: le buste dei frullati per bambini.
Finally here I am with a DIY Advent Calendar, all recycled of course! (You can find another idea made with egg boxes here, and one with tea here… ). I though about using again the packages of kids’ smoothies. Just cut of the top and wash it, and we’re ready to go…
Il procedimento è sempre lo stesso, e vi serviranno pochissime cose: forbici, forbici a zig-zag, buste dei succhi tagliate e lavate, washi tape, e ovviamente sorpresine e dolci. Il mio frigo è rivestito in legno, ma nel caso il vostro sia ‘al naturale’ sarebbe carino anche avere qualche calamita a disposizione. Siccome lo spazio è limitato consiglio di creare i numeri di volta in volta (potete anche ri-riciclare le bustine, più di così!).
You’ll need scissors, smoothie bags, washi tape, and, if your fridge is not covered with wood like mine is, please prepare also some magnets. Since the space won’t be enough, I suggest that you prepare only a limited amount of numbers, and change them time by time (you can also recycle the same bags!).
1. Prendete la busta tagliata e lavata e tagliate i bordi in eccesso. 2. Capovolgete la busta. 3. Decorate il bordo con il washi tape, e se volete ritagliatelo con forbici decorative. 4. Scrivete il numero sulla busta con il washi tape.
…Pronto! Ora ripetete altre tre o quattro volte, attaccate al frigorifero con washi tape o calamite, e tenetevi pronti a cambiare numeri e regali tra qualche giorno. Noi l’abbiamo attaccato in mezzo agli appunti di mamma e la lista della spesa…

…and we’re ready to go! Hang your bags to the fridge and fill them up. Ours are in the middle of mum’s notes and shopping lists…
Per i regalini vi confesso che sto barando un po’, perché i piccoli hanno già ricevuto un calendario contenente cioccolato dalla nonna. Per cui io ho riempito il mio di lecca-lecca per la tosse e qualche giocattolo sparito dalla circolazione nei mesi passati (uso questo trucco spesso), o mai visto perché apparteneva a mamma… dopotutto i miei bambini, essendo di due nazionalità diverse, riceveranno regali per St. Nikolaus, Natale e Befana! Ma chi l’ha detto che ora i bambini debbano anche ricevere un regalo al giorno fino a Natale?! Quindi viva i calendari creativi, piccoli giocattoli e dolcetti fatti a mano… quando ero piccola il calendario me lo facevo da sola, e in ogni finestra c’era un disegno (e quelli in vendita anch’essi avevano solo disegni…)! Honestly, I cheated a bit filling the bags up – using healthy snacks and old toys – after all the kids are getting already a lot of stuff for St Nikolaus (a German celebration), Christmas, and the Befana (an Italian celebration), plus they already got a chocolate calendar for grandma… Have fun with your calendar, and don’t forget that if you need gift tags for your gift, here on Mammabook you can download them for free!
