CHRISTMAS PARTY: plan your party

Ora che abbiamo le idee chiare su come presentarci alla festa di Natale, rimane da pensare a chi la festa la sta organizzando!
Mamme, nonne e zie saranno indaffarate in cucina, quindi tocca a noi ragazze pensare a (quasi) tutto il resto affinchè la festa sia piacevole e divertente per tutti!
Avete presente quelle bellissime feste di Natale che si vedono in televisione? Tutti vestiti a festa, tutti felici, e l'ambiente semplicemente perfetto? Probabilmente sarà difficile raggiungere quei livelli, ma potreste sempre fare in modo che la vostra festa di Natale sia la più bella ed elegante della stagione! Ecco alcuni suggerimenti:  
Organizzate l'elenco degli ospiti.

• Trovare un posto adatto per il vostro party. Accertatevi che le dimensioni del luogo della festa siano adatte al numero di ospiti. Di tregola ogni ospite dovrebbe avere almeno 3 metri quadrati di spazio. affinchè tutti si sentano a proprio agio.
• Assicuratevi che sia tutto pulito e ordinato. Non c'è niente di peggiodi un'ambiente sporco o tracurato. Evitate accuratamente anche gli odori forti, sia quelli cattivi che quelli buoni. l'ideale sono le candele profumate alla vaniglia, ma 3-4 è il numero massimo che si dovrebbe usare per evitare di esagerare con il profumo. 

Le decorazioni 

•  Per quanto riguarda l'illuminazione, le luci soffuse sono sempre la scelta migliore. Potete trovare luci di Natale chiare in qualsiasi negozio di bricolage o al supermercato. Mettetene abbastanza per creare l'atmosfera della di festa ma non esagerate, i vostri ospiti non dovrebbero rimanere abbagliati!Evitate anche le luci colorateche potrebbero entrare in conflitto con alcune combinazioni di colori delle decorazioni.
• Assicuratevi di avere tavoli e piani d'appoggio sufficienti. Ad es. un tavolo per i giochi, un tavolo per il rinfresco, ecc.
• Decorazioni come ghirlande o fiocchi rossi sono sempre adatte,ma non ne appendete troppe o l'effetto finale potrebbe risultare di cattivo gusto.
• Un trucco semplice per decorare l'ambiente è riempire un vaso di cristallo di pigne dorate e non
• Per una festa di Natale ci vuole un' albero di Natale. Ma perché l'albero abbia un aspetto gradevole, è necessario che sia abbastanza pieno e di una grandezza giusta per l'ambiente: evitate di mettere un mini alberello in un salone o un albero di 3 metri in una stanza troppo piccola.
• E non dimenticatevi di legare un pezzo di vischio con un nastro rosso, ed appenderlo ad un'arcata. 

Il cibo

• Assicuratevi di avere bibite o cocktails analcolici per le persone che non bevono alcolici, e che ci sia sempre acqua disponibile.
• Finger food e dolci sono l'ideale per le feste di Natale molto grandi. Ma se acquistate il cibo da un negozio, assicuratevi di presentare i piatti come se li aveste fatti voi. (metteteli ben disposti in vassoi ed alzatine, riscaldaeli se necessario, ecc) 

Musica

• La migliore musica per una festa di Natale sono i classici canti natalizi. Nat King Cole èuno dei miei preferiti. Certo potete sempre mettere canzoni divertenti come Santa Baby o All I Want For Christmas Is You, ma assicuratevi che la scaletta musicale comprenda anche alcuni classici.
• Decidete una data e un'ora. Mandate gli inviti ed accertatevi siano eleganti, questo darà agli ospiti un'idea su come dovrebbero vestire.
• Quando la festa è in corso, assicurati di girare e parlare con tutti i vostri ospiti. 

Qualche ultima avvertenza

• Evitate di tenere la musica troppo alta, potrebbe infastidire gli ospiti.
• Tenete al caldo i cibi caldi e al freddo i cibi freddi.
• Fate sentire ogni ospite a proprio agio. A nessuno piace essere lasciato fuori o  sentirsi isolato, ed è compito della padrona di casa fare in modo che tutti si divertano.
•  Accertatevi che bagni siano puliti e mettete a disposizione sapone, asciugamani ed anche uno smacchaitore per abiti per i vostri ospiti, e....

Mothers, grandmothers and aunts will be busy in the kitchen, so it's up to us girls think about (almost) everything else so that the party is fun and enjoyable for everyone!
Have you ever seen those beautiful Christmas parties on television? Everyone is dressed to the nines, all are happy, and the setting is just perfect? Well, here are some tips so that your Christmas Party will be the most wonderful, elegant party of the season! 
Plan your guest list.

• Find a place for your party. Make sure the size of the party venue fits your number of guests. Make sure each guest has at least 3 square feet of space. Guests do not like too much space. Guests are happy when they feel comfortable.
• Make sure the venue of your party is clean and tidy. Guests hate dirty surroundings. It's a huge turnoff. Make sure there are no strong odors, including both bad and good smells. The fragrance of your party should be neutral. Try to use vanilla-scented candles. 3-4 candles is the maximum number you should use, as some guests do not like certain scents.

Party Decor 

• As for lighting, you should have dim lights. You can find clear Christmas lights at any home improvement store or supermarket Hang enough to be festive, but not too many. Make sure the guests can see! However, do not hang colorful lights as the colors may appear to clash with certain color schemes. 
• With general decor, make sure you have certain tables for each event. Possible tables include a gift exchange table, a refreshment table, or a food buffet table. However, if you have a tree, you won't need a gift exchange table 
• Hang festive decorations like garland or red bows. Never hang too many bows or too much garland, as it might turn tacky.
• Use collections of pine cones and glass vases for a classic Christmas accent. 
• Classic Decor 
• If you really want an fancy, traditional party, you must have a Christmas tree. But in order for the tree to look nice, you must choose a fairly full tree. For tree decorating, you should use clear lights and round red ornaments.
• For a little creative fun, tie a piece of mistletoe to a neat red ribbon and hang it from an archway. If there's not archway, the ceiling will do.

Refreshments and Food

• Decide if you are going to serve alcohol if your party. If you are, make sure you have sodas or punch for the people who do not drink alcoholic beverages. Make sure water is available, too. 
• Finger foods and desserts are great for Christmas parties. If you buy the foods from a store, make sure they are presented as if you made them yourself. (price tags removed, plastic coverings removed, warmed if needed, etc.)

Music

• The best music for a Christmas party are classic Christmas songs. Nat King Cole has great classy Christmas songs. You might decide to choose some fun Christmas songs like Santa Baby or All I Want For Christmas Is You, but make sure the music lineup includes some classics.
• Set a date and a time. Send out invitations. Be sure not to leave anyone important out. Make sure the invitations are elegant. The guests will dress accordingly to how the invitations make them think they should dress.
• When the party is going on, Make sure to circulate and talk to all your guests. Most importantly, Have a blast at your Classy & Classic Christmas Party.

Warnings

• Be sure not to turn the music up too loud. You wouldn't want to annoy the guests.
• Keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. It can cause food poisoning when certain foods get to certain temperatures.
• Make every guest feel comfortable. No one likes to be left out or secluded.
• BE SURE THERE IS A CLEAN BATHROOM. Bathrooms should be clean unless you want to gross out your guests, and...
