E’ da parecchio tempo che voglio mettere mano ad un vecchio tavolino Lack di Ikea per trasformarlo e dargli nuova vita – anche perchè è pieno di ammaccature! Avevo già raccolto in questo post i top Ikea hacks su tavolino Lack e venerdì pomeriggio mi sono decisa: devo trasformare il tavolino Lack! Scelta del giorno infausta perchè il sole splendeva, sembrava una limpida giornata estiva….volevo solo uscire e girovagare per godermi la natura e il sole. Combattuta tra il desiderio di fare e quello di non fare, ho trovato il compromesso: ci voleva un progetto di trasformazione che fosse facile, low cost e molto veloce! Così ho pensato ad una trasformazione del tavolino Lack da realizzare in 10 minuti; inoltre doveva essere un progetto “reversibile” in modo tale da potermi pemetter di attuare i progetti più ambiziosi di restyle in un’altra occasione – magari una piovosa giornata invernale?!
It’s been a long time that I want to hand to an old Ikea Lack coffee table to transform it and give it new life - also because it is full of bruises! I had already gathered in this post the top Ikea hacks on Lack table so on Friday afternoon I decided: I have to restyle my Lack table! Choosing the wrong day because the sun was shining, it looked like a clear summer day …. I just wanted to go out and wander around to enjoy nature and the sun. Torn between the desire to do and what to do, I found the compromise: I needed a transformation project that was easy, low cost and very fast! So I thought of a transformation of the Lack table to do in 10 minutes; also it had to be a project “reversible” so that I can implement my side table in a most ambitious project of redesign in another time - maybe ina rainy winter day ?!
Cosa occorre:
- Un rotolo di washi tape – nella fantasia che più vi piace;
- Un righello;
- una matita;
- un paio di forbici
Il mio tavolino era il classico Lack bianco e volevo dargli un pò di colore, tenendo sempre la base di colore bianco perchè in casa mia è tutto di questo colore, che adoro; ho pensato di realizzare delle righe di colore con il washi tape – anch’esso a righe multicolor. Ho diviso e segnato la base del tavolino con righello e matita per definire l’alternanza degli spazi vuoti/pieni. E ho steso il washi tape a due strisce accoppiate. Fatto! Ci vuole più a scriverlo che a farlo!
What you need:
- A roll of washi tape - the fantasy that you like;
- a ruler;
- a pencil;
- a pair of scissors
My coffee table was a classic white Lack and wanted to give it some color, keeping the white base because in my house is all of this color that I love; I planned on doing coloured stripes with washi tape. I split and marked the base of the table with a ruler and pencil to define the alternation of empty/full spaces And I have stretched the washi tape two strips coupled. Done! It takes longer to write than to do it!
