David Beckham x H&M Spring 15. Impressions.

Un altro post su una collaborazione abbigliamento uomo, il secondo in una settimana, dopo quello su #RIxJamesLong di qualche giorno fa. Strana coincidenza per questo blog, che di solito e' piu' orientato verso l'abbigliamento donna e le fashion news ma le spiegazioni sono molteplici; prima di tutto il 'fattore Beckham' sempre fonte di news interessanti, sia che si parli di Victoria, David o Brooklyn (ormai ho un tag 'Beckham' nel blog); a seguire il mio rinnovato interesse per il menswear e infine il seguire comunque le collaborazioni H&M/designer/celebrities.--------------------Another post on a menswear collaboration, the second in a week, after the one on #RIxJamesLong that i wrote few days ago. Weird timing for this blog, that usually is focused on womenswear and fashion news but there are several  explanations fo that; first of all the 'Beckham factor' that's always source of interesting news, either if it's about Victoria and David or Brooklyn (I do have now a dedicated 'beckham' tag on the blog); then, my renewed interest for menswear and my following the H&M collaborations.

Ma eccoci alla notizia; il 5 marzo debutta online e nei negozi H&M Modern Essentials, una selezione di capi classici rivisitati in chiave moderna editata da David che fa  anche da testimonial e modello per la campagna pubblicitaria. Si va dalle semplici t-shirt a tinta unita con stampa 'London' e righe, a polo e camicie, passando per denim e pantaloni smart/casual nei toni del blu navy e bianco gesso. Non mancano bomber in lino e cotone, trench e un completo giacca e pantalone, per finire con abbigliamento sportivo - tute e canottiere per la palestra. Una selezione classica e senza pretese trendy che pero' sicuramente fara' breccia tra il target femminile che la comprera' per fidanzati e mariti, sperando di dargli un tocco Beckham e tra gli shopper uomini bisognosi di una guida e consigli di stile. A questo link invece potrete vedere tutta la collezione Modern Essentials.-------------------Here's the news; on March the 5th there will be the lauch, online and in selected stores, of the H&M Modern Essentials, a selection of classic menswear items revisited with a modern twist and edited by David who is the testimonial and the model of the campaign. There are basic and 'London' printed t-shirts, stripey ones, polo shirts, shirts, denim, smart/casual trousers; all in a neutral colour palette - navy, grey, balck and off-white. There are also lines and cotton bomber jackets, a trench coat, a suit and some sport gear - jogging bottoms and vest for the gym. A classic and 'normcore' collection that will be successful with that female target that is going to buy it, hoping to give to their boyfriends and husbands a 'Beckham touch' and with those men in need of guidance and style tips.
