[EuRoPe] #12 Belgium - Beer Nail Art

Il Belgio è un paese piccino piccino incastonato tra Francia e Germania, famosissimo per molte cose: la cioccolata, Audrey Hepburn e Tintin. In realtà ci sarebbe un'altra cosetta, una cosetta che la lega alla Germania, e non sto parlando dei colori della sua bandiera, ma della birra!
le migliori birre al mondo sono proprio le birre d'abbazia provenienti dal Belgio. Che ne direste di salire a bordo del nostro pulmino? Birra per tutti!
Belgium is a tiny country between France and Germany, well-known for many things: chocolate, Audrey Hepburn and Tintin. But there's also the Abbey beers you must know. Actually, we should talk about Trappist beer, because these beers are brewed within the walls of a Trappist monastery, either by the monks themselves or under their supervision.
Today's manicure is devoted to Trappist Beer. Get on board, we're heading for the Belgium!

Nail Polishes I used:
China Glaze Champagne Bubbles
OPI Oy- Another Polish-Joke!
WjCon Sugar Effect 810
Revlon 050 White on White
NYC Black Striper

Over my base coat, I painted one coats of China Glaze Champagne Bubbles. I layered one single coat of OPI Oy-Another Polish Joke! and I let it dry. Then, I drew a french smile with Revlon White on White, and with the saran wrap technique, I added the WjCon nail polish, to remind beer's suds. With the black striped I drew the profile of my nails to suggest the profile of a glass. Don't forget to add your favorite top coat to preserve your manicure, and you're done.

I don't think this design fits on short nails, or maybe it's just me. Maybe I have add too much suds to my beer (I think this should be a wheat beer, because it's very pale.). What do you think? Do you like beer? I prefere something more sweet, like Lambic; but I love cooking with the beer. It make your roast beef more tasty, and your pasta too! The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Si parte sempre con la base protettiva. Quindi, ho steso una mano di China Glaze Champagne Bubbles, cui ho aggiunto, una volta asciutta, una seconda mano di OPI  Oy- Another Polish-Joke!. Ho disegnato la lunetta della french manicure con Revlon 050 White on White, e con la tecnica della saran wrap ho steso, sfumandolo, lo smalto bianco gesso della linea textured di WjCon. Ho completato il tutto delineando i controni dell'unghia (a ricordare il profilo di un bicchiere) utilizzando lo striper nero della NYC ed ho sigillato il tutto con una mano di top coat.
Non sono sicura che questo disegno si adatti bene alle unghie così corte, o forse sono solo io ad aver aggiunto troppa schiuma al mio boccale. Come spillatrice faccio pietà, in effetti! Quella che ho sulle dita dovrebbe essere birra di grano, chiara com'è. A voi piace la birra? Io confesso che le preferisco il Lambic, che è più dolce e meglio si incontra con i miei gusti, ma mi piace cucinare aggiungendo un bicchiere di birra. È ottima per dare corpo all'arrosto (specie la Guinnes) o per fare delle pennette che sono la fine del mondo. Come si dice, provare per credere!
