Dal 20 aprile al 4 giugno il Palais de Tokyo di Parigi - palazzo costruito a metà degli anni '30 per l'esposizione universale e, dal 2002, adibito a essere uno dei più importanti centri di arte contemporanea in Francia e nel mondo - ha ospitato la mostra Fabrique du Résiduel di Benoit Pype, dalla Modules Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent

From 20 April to 4 June, the Palais de Tokyo, in Paris - a palace built in the mid 30s for the Universal Exhibition. Since 2002 it used to be one of the most important centers of contemporary art in France and around the world - has hosted the Fabrique du Résiduel Exhibition by Benoit Pype, from the Fondation Pierre Bergé Modules - Yves Saint Laurent.
What kind of art is the Pype's one? He calls it "art from the bottom of the pockets."

"Non è necessario andare in giro per il mondo per viaggi: l'avventura si trova in una tasca, nel mio giardino intorno alla mia casa", dice l'artista. Ecco che allora il riciclo non è solo per riutilizzare il materiale, ma anche e soprattutto per restituire stupore e meraviglia a se stessi, senza la necessità di una ricerca smodata e frenetica dello stra-ordinaro.

Si tratta, quello della Fabrique du Résiduel, di un riciclo in grado di regalare un'inedita grandezza a ciò che vi è di più minuto, piccolo, insignificante.
