Girlysh neo Grunge

Non so voi, ma io non ho praticamente ricordi dello stile Grunge degli anni 90.
Ho scoperto questo stile grazie alle riviste, alla musica ed alla storia della moda, ma per quanto ricordo, a me non sembra di aver mai visto nessuno andare in giro vestito come Kurt Cobain.
Insomma, è vero che qualche vago ricordo di camicie di flanella e Dr.Martens ce l'ho, ma nulla più di questo. Ed ammetto di essermi meravigliata parecchio quando ho sentito parlare per la prima volta dello stile Grunge proprio perchè, pur essendo stato uno stile piuttosto contemporaneo, non mi ha praticamente sfiorata.
Certo non è che sia esattamente il mio genere (intendiamoci, non mi sognerei mai andare in giro con i vestiti bucati, il trucco del giorno prima ed i capelli spetinati), ma devo ammettere che la nuova versione patinata riveduta e corretta del grunge che è uscita quest'anno ha il suo fascino. Così ho deciso di fare un tentativo!
Ho preso un'abitino sottoveste in creponne di seta (estivo) e l'ho abbinato a calze velate marrone scuro, Dr. Marten's e giacca di pelle testa di moro cercando di ricreare l'unico lato dello stile Grunge che vedo più vicino a me, l'unico che prevedesse un vestitino a fiorellini!
Inutile dire che mia a mamma, quando mi ha vista vestita così per uscire qualche sera fa, è preso un colpo (e si vede dalle foto): all'inizio mica voleva crederci che sarei davvero andata in giro con quella tenuta, pensava che mi fossi vestità così solo per fare le foto per il blog: secondo lei assomigliavo ad una barbona!^^
E devo dire la verità, non è che mi sentissi proprio a mio agio vestita così, ma pazienza, la cosa peggiore è stato il freddo che ho sentito!
All'interno del locale stavo pure bene (con la giacca addosso), ma fuori... la domanda sorge spontanea: come cavolo facevano ad andare in giro in inverno con questi vestitini 20 anni fa????
In conclusione, dopo esser sfuggita agli sguardi minacciosi dei miei ed aver sfiorato l'assideramento (e dire che ancora non è che faccia tanto freddo), credo di aver chiuso la mia esperienza con il grunge:è evidente che non fa per me! ;P
I do not know about you, but I do not remember nothing about the grunge style of the 90's.
I discovered this style thanks to magazines, music and fashion history, but I do not remember I ever saw anyone dressed like Kurt Cobain.
In short,all I have are some vague memory of flannel shirts and Dr.Martens, but nothing more than that. And I have to admit that I was quite surprised when I heard for the first time of about the Grunge style, beacuse, even if it was rather contemporary style, I wasn't practically touched of it.
Really it is not exactly my style (you know, I would never dream to goout with holes in clothes, makeup of the day before and mess up hair), but I have to admit that the new revised version of grunge that is output this year has its own charm. So I decided to give it a chance!
I took crepe silk petticoat dress and I paired with dark brown stockings, Dr. Marten 's and dark brown leather jacket trying to recreate the only side of Grunge style closer to me, the only one who contemplate a floral dress!
Needless to say, my mom , when he saw me dressed like that ready to go out few evenings ago freacked out (and you can see from the photos)! At the beginning she didn't want to believe that I've really been go out with that outfit, she thought I was dressed like that just to take pictures for the blog: she said I looked like a bag lady ^ ^
And I have to tell the truth, it's not that I felt really comfortable dressed like that, but never mind , the worst thing was that I felt a lot of cold !
Inside the club I was pretty good (with the jacket on) , but outside ... a question arises: how the hell people getted out in the winter with these dresses, 20 years ago ???
In conclusion, after having escaped the disapproval glares of my parents and having almost touched frostbite (and here it is not still so cold) , I think I definitely closed my experience with grunge: it is clear that is not for me! ; P
