Per continuare la nostra serie di post dedicati alla ricerca di regali adatti, come dire, a chi condivide gli interessi da viaggiatore e da buongustaio di cui ci vantiamo in questo blog, oggi parliamo di uno dei regali più impegnativi ma più apprezzati: un viaggio.
Regalare un viaggio non è mai semplicissimo, soprattutto se si tratta di una sorpresa. Ma ora non indagheremo le modalità, ma i siti di riferimento a cui io faccio riferimento o che ho scovato sul web e mi paiono interessanti e utili per organizzare un viaggio online facendo attenzione ai prezzi ma evitando luoghi/modi che non starebbero benissimo in un pacchetto regalo.

Giving a trip is never easy, especially if it is a surprise. But now I wont investigate it, but I'm going to show you the reference sites I prefer, or that I found on the web and I think like interesting and useful to organize a trip online, keeping attention to prices but avoiding places / ways that will not fit well in a package gift.

Partiamo dai voli. Un tempo questa era la parte più cara del viaggio e costituiva il problema maggiore. Ora credo non sia più (necessariamente) così. Spesso costa di più il soggiorno e molto dipende dai periodi.
Per trovare i voli più economici spesso è utile dare un'occhiata ai siti di motore di ricerca (di fatto, delle agenzie online). In questo modo potrete risparmiare sui voli dai più economici, come può essere un Milano Barcellona, per esempio, da quelli più lussuosi come i voli Milano Dubai. Per queste occasioni di solito uso lastminute.com, col quale mi sono sempre trovata bene, e Expedia.it, che ha il vantaggio di permetterti di scegliere la compagnia che si preferisce (detto fuori dai denti, personalmente mi sono sempre trovata bene con Easyjet, quando invece non sono propriamente una fan di Ryanair). Conosco e ho già usato anche eDreams, e ha il vantaggio di tenere voli che spesso sono terminati sui siti delle compagnie, ma credo abbiamo delle spese di agenzia un po' troppo alte ed inserite, in modo un po' fastidioso, ad hoc alla fine.
Let's start with flights. At one time this was the most expensive part of a trip and it was pretty the biggest problem. Now I think it's no longer (necessarily) the same case. Often the hotels/flats cost more and it depends on the periods so much.
To find the cheapest it is often useful to look at the search sites (in fact, they're online agencies). This way you can save money on flights from budget, how it can be for a cheap a Milan Barcelona, for example, but even on the most luxurious as flights Milan to Dubai. For these occasions I usually use lastminute.com, whom I have always found it good, and Expedia.it, which has the advantage of allowing you to choose the company that you want (said out of the teeth, personally I've always been happy with Easyjet , when I'm not really a fan of Ryanair). I know and I've also used eDreams, and has the advantage of taking flights that are often completed on the websites of the companies, but I think they have a bit too high agency fees and I find a bit annoying the fact they're ad hoc at the end .

Per quanto riguarda invece la sistemazione, molto dipende da quanto tempo si pensa di soggiornare. Per pochi giorni convengono gli hotel e gli ostelli, spesso abbinati nei pacchetti volo+hotel in modo conveniente. In ogni caso io un'occhiata alle offerte che si trovano su Booking la do sempre. E ultimamente ho trovate addirittura migliori le ricerche fatte grazie a Trivago. Invece per le sistemazioni più lunghe, consiglio l'affitto di un residence/appartamento e lì allora la lotta è invece tra Roomorama e Airbnb, di solito. Io non vedo l'ora di riuscire a provarne il servizio Roomorama di cui vi avevo parlato.
About accommodation, it depends a lot on how long is you plan to stay. For a few days I think hotels and hostels are more confortable, and they're often combined in packages flight + hotel in a convenient way. In any case, I used to look at the offers that are on the Booking and lately I've found even better researches thanks to Trivago. Instead accommodations for longer, I recommend renting an apartment / house. Here the fight is between Roomorama and Airbnb, usually. I'm looking forward to be able to try out the service Roomorama of which I had spoken.

Detto ciò, è capitato altra volte in cui ho avuto occasione di consigliarvi di prendere in considerazione anche i treni. Dipende molto dalle mete. In Italia la concorrenza tra Trenitalia e Italo va tutto a nostro vantaggio in quanto la lotta si basa sul rilancio dell'offerta. E invece non mi stanco di consigliare a chi va a Parigi o a Lione di controllare sempre le offerte del TGV.

Organizzato il soggiorno in questo senso, se siete dei veri planner, saggio è spesso controllare i siti dei musei principali, qualora foste interessati, (quelli dove c'è sempre molta coda), soprattutto se siete in alta stagione, e considerare l'idea di acquistare online i biglietti. Si salta la coda e spesso sono scontati.
When you've organized the stay in this sense, if you are a real planner, it is often wise to check out the sites of major museums, if you are interested, (the ones where there's always a lot of queue), especially if you're in high season, and consider the idea to purchase tickets online. You'll avoid the queue and are often the tickets are discounted.

Conclusioni: se il prezzo del viaggio, per giunta presumibilmente doppio, è troppo alto, oppure semplicemente non ve la sentite di organizzare tutto all'insaputa del vostro compagno d'avventura, è sempre un bel regalo una guida (oltre alle amatissime Lonely Planet a me non dispiacciono anche le Mondadori: sono come i bambini a cui piace vedere le figure) o un libro fotografico dedicato al luogo a cui avete pensato. Sarà un modo per dire di voler organizzare insieme :) !
Chi è solito organizzare i proprio viaggi online conosce molti di questi siti e questo post non ha certo rivelato nulla di nuovo. Però credo che una pagina con tutti i link presenti possa essere utile per ottimizzare la consultazione delle varie fonti in modo da riuscire a orientarsi.
Conclusion: if the price of the trip, in addition presumably double, is too high, or just you cannot be bothered to organize all the trip without your fellow adventure's opinion, it is always a nice gift a turist guide (I'mof course in love with Lonely Planet, but I also like the Mondadori's. I like children who like to see the figures!) or a photo book dedicated to the place where you wold go. It will be a way to say you want to organize together :)!
Who usually organizes his own journey online knows many of these sites and this post certainly did not reveal anything new. But I think a page with all the links can be useful for optimizing the consultation of different sources in order to be able to orientate himself.
