How To Wear a Winter Cape

Mantelle: il massimo in calore e versatilità, ed un sogno se si ama stratificare (e chi non lo fa, in questo periodo dell'anno?). 

Quest’anno sono di moda più che mai, e c'è veramente la possibilità di scegliere uno stile per soddisfare ogni gusto ed esigenza.

• I poncho-coprerta sono perfetti per i fine settimana, in particolare per affrontare gli spazi aperti in jeans e cappello slouchy.
• Il classico stile trench invece andrebbe "aiutato" con qualcosa di audace, come la pelle nera o la stampa animalier, e magari dal tocco di classe di accessori in pelle.
• Preferite le mantelle sotto al ginocchio se cercate un' effetto scenografico ed elegante, ma di giorno abbinatele ad abiti semplici come pantaloni skinny e tacchi. Invece se scegliete una cappa corta abbinatela con il denim, o utilizzate il color blocking per creare un look vivace e stiloso. Le mantelle boho, tendenti al poncho, invece vogliono accessori con le frange e jeans a zampa.
• Se cercate uno stile più sartoriale abbinate la mantella con miniskirt, fedora e stivali cuissardes, o provate con il total color con accessori a contrasto. Infine per la sera, perché non provare un’ elegante Tuxedo sotto la mantella ? E’ un look insolito ma decisamente stiloso.
• Infine cercate di considerare in linea generale la mantella come una tela bianca, a cui abbinare plaid, righe, blocchi di colore e texture diverse.

·   Pull on a blanket cape at the weekend, and be ready for the great outdoors in jeans or dungarees and a slouchy hat.
·   Try the classic trench style with something daring, such as black patent or animal print, or add a touch of class with a leather trim.
·   Opt for a below-the-knee cape for dramatic effect, but team with simple clothes such as skinnies and heels. Move up rather than down with a crop, coupled with denim, or use blocks of colour to make a bold statement. Go boho, verging on poncho, with a fringed version over ripped jeans.
·   Match a more tailored style with a mini, fedora and over-knee boots, or slip into a smooth cape blazer, stunning in white (or any other colour, actually). Naturally, playtime is our favourite time of day, so for evening, slink into a sleek black tuxe-style. Turn heads by adding embossed or leather pants, and maybe a hat – that’s it, you’re ready for anything!
