Il FC United of Manchester stabilisce il record di presenze allo stadio della National League North

Nel match di sabato 12 marzo al Broadhurst Park contro l'AFC Flyde, incontro terminato 2 a1 per gli ospiti(Video), il FC United of Manchester con 3,432 spettatori ha stabilito in nuovo record di affluenza per una partita della National League North(precedentemente conosciuta come Conference North) aggiungendo una altro piccolo simbolico traguardo alla sua storia giovane storia(qui Video-doc).
Nella prima stagione nel nuovo stadio il Community Club ha visto aumentare il pubblico in occasione delle partite di oltre il 50% passando dai 2.155 quando giocavano al Gigg Lane di Bury, lontano dal cuore della comunità, ai 3.307 di media attuali(LINK) nel nuovo impianto recentemente scelto dal magazine specializzato in stadi del Regno Unito, Groundtastic Football Grounds Magazine, come come ''impianto dell'anno'' nella categoria degli stadi dei campionati della Non League(qui dettagli).

Saturday’s attendance of 3,432 for the AFC Fylde game was a record breaker as it meant that FC United had recorded the highest aggregate attendance for the National League North (previously Conference North) in the league’s history.
It’s also worth noting that the largest three crowds in non-league on Saturday were held by fan-owned clubs - Hereford in the FA Vase, Wrexham in the National League and FC United in the National League North.

FC United’s attendances this season have seen a 53% increase on last season’s average of 2,155. FC United are now the fourth best supported team in the top four steps of the non-league, behind Tranmere, Wrexham and Grimsby.
