In memory of McQueen.

It would be absurd to think that today people do not know Lee Alexander McQueen, the visionary genius of the XXI century, which left a large footprint in fashion. Anyone who has ever browsed or read a magazine knows this name.Today we remember the tragedy that hit the fashion last year, McQueen's suicide occurred just the 11 February.Initially I did not want to remember him with the photo of Armadillo, one of his last and most famous creations. Besides being a beautiful shoe (in my opinion), this picture is very beautiful and I wanted to show, futuristic design and a revolutionary.Many who knew him through the transgressive Lady Gaga who wore some of her works in the video "Bad Romance", others because of Sarah Jessica Parker, dear friend of the designer who often sported his creations. But I think it will not take a celebrity for to love and feel its Gothic style, innovation and originality that are the protagonists of his collections.I think no one will ever take, symbolically, his place, and especially remove from our hearts, even though I still have to compliment Sarah Burton, who directs excellent the collection.
Sarebbe assurdo pensare che oggi qualcuno non conosca Lee Alexander McQueen, il genio visionario del XXI, che ha lasciato una grande impronta nella moda. Chiunque abbia mai sfogliato o letto un magazine conosce questo nome. Oggi ricordiamo la tragedia che ha colpito la moda lo scorso anno, il suicidio di McQueen avvenuto proprio l'undici febbraio.Inizialmente non volevo ricordarlo con la foto delle Armadillo, una delle sue ultime e più celebri creazioni. Oltre ad essere una stupenda scarpa (a mio parere), questa foto è davvero molto bella e volevo mostrarvela, design futuristico e rivoluzionario. Molti lo hanno conosciuto tramite la trasgressiva Lady Gaga che indossò alcune sue creazioni, nel video "Bad Romance", altri grazie alla simpatica Sarah Jessica Parker, cara amica del designer che sfoggiava spesso sue creazioni. Ma penso che non ci voglia una celebrità per amare e notare il suo stile gotico, l'innovazione e l'originalità che sono protagoniste delle sue collezioni. Credo che nessuno potrà mai prendere, simbolicamente, il suo posto e sopratutto toglierlo dal nostro cuore, anche se devo comunque fare i complimenti a Sarah Burton che dirige le collezioni eccellentemente.
