Presentato presso il Liberty Stadium di Swansea il report 'A Welsh Conservatives consultation of fans' views on Safe Standing''(qui full report), realizzato in collaborazione con la Football Supporters' Federation(FSF), con con cui la politica gallese e i principali club locali rinnovano la propria disponibilità a sostenere e sviluppare dei progetti pilota di ''safe standing areas''.
Il report, risultato di una consultazione pubblica(qui dettagli) che ha coinvolto circa 2000 supporters, evidenzia che il 96% dei partecipanti è favorevole a progetti pilota per valutare l'impatto e l'efficienza della soluzione dei rail seats, l'84% che le tecnologie moderne possano consentire di realizzare spalti in piedi in sicurezza capici di restituire l'atmosfera nei campi di calcio.
L'Assemblea del Galles, in prima linea da tempo sul tema(qui dettagli), rinnova così la pressione sul Governo del Regno Unito sul tema delle ''safe standing areas'', con Swansea City, Cardiff City, Newport County e Wrexham FC che hanno dato disponibilità ad ospitare i progetti pilota.

Safe standing is backed by the overwhelming majority of fans, and the cross-party support here in Wales gives us a mandate to press for a pilot scheme.
