- As a young Italian designer, it is easy to ask you, what do you think of fashion in Italy and the difficulties of young people to get space in this country."I think in general that the system is very complicated. It is really hard to be able to emerge. When you are young, you are full of energy: you want to create, grow and build something . It 's a shame not to do so in their own country although we have the ability and the talent to do it. Here today there is positivity and planning, and a young man may feel discouraged. When your work is appreciated and something good happens, however, definitely see your future in a different way. I can say so because of the feedback I had in other countries is much stronger than the one had in Italy. If there's one thing I would say to everyone is: "Be curious! You will have the opportunity to discover many beautiful and interesting things. "
- If I had to define Les Petits Joueurs in three adjectives, what would you use?"Pop, elegant, original."
- Who is the woman-icon LPJ?"A woman who is not a beginner with fashion, who knows, who has already experienced and familiar with the handling. It 's a person who loves to dare. She is a woman who is not afraid to experiment. "
- How you would wear a bag LPJ?"I am very happy when I see Les Petits Joueurs worn like I would wear - confesses Maria Sole Cecchi . I am often dressed in white and black,, a versatile set that goes well with all my bags. Personally I like to wear neutral clothes, just to put the emphasis on the accessories. Che le abbiate adocchiate su qualche bloggers, in qualche foto di street style o durante qualche fashion weeks all over the world, non importa, una cosa è certa: si fanno notare e piacciono a tutte!Non potevo non dedicare un articolo del mio blog e rendervi partecipi di questo interessante articolo-intervista, letto per caso su Elle.it. Maria Sole Cecchi è l'anima e il cuore pulsante del brand di borse Les Petits Joueurs. LPJ ( Les Petits Joueurs) è un marchio giovane, ma con un passaporto decisamente intercontinentale: toscano nella produzione e parigino di nascita, si fa conoscere e si diffonde in Brasile, per ottenere successo e consensi nel fashion system internazionale grazie a creazioni luxury dalla forte personalità. Piccoli capolavori artigianali, realizzati a mano con materie e pellami di altissima qualità, che fondono in sé riconoscibilità, tratti iconici e un tocco di ironia.Sono proprio i mattoncini Lego - diventati poi il tratto indelebile del brand e presenti in ogni creazione - elemento che li caratterizza e contraddistingue. Nel 2010, Maria Sole in occasione di una feste decise di incollare dei Lego su una delle sue vecchie pochette componendo la scritta LOVE. La indossò a questo party a Parigi e fu un vero successo. Tutti cominciarono a notarla, a chiederle dove l' avesse comprata e a dirle che ne volevano una".Da lì parte l'avventura di Les Petits Joueurs e di Maria Sole Cecchi che in 4 anni ha saputo trasformare un'intuizione creativa in una professione, un'idea brillante in un'impresa.
- Da giovane designer italiana che ce l'ha fatta all'estero, è naturale chiederle, cosa ne pensa invece della moda in Italia e delle difficoltà dei giovani a farsi spazio in questo Paese. "Penso che in generale sia il sistema ad essere molto complicato, è davvero faticoso riuscire a emergere. Non si fa mai niente per niente. Quando si è giovani, si è pieni di energia: hai voglia di creare, di crescere e di costruire qualcosa. E' un peccato non poterlo fare nel proprio Paese nonostante si abbiano le capacità e il talento per farlo. Qui oggi non c'è positività e progettualità e un giovane può sentirsi scoraggiato. Quando il tuo lavoro viene apprezzato e succede qualcosa di bello, invece, sicuramente vedi il tuo futuro in maniera diversa. Parlo così perché il riscontro che ho avuto negli altri Paesi è molto più forte di quello avuto in Italia. Lì anche se non ti conoscono e anche se non appartieni a un circuito consolidato e noto, mostrano comunque INTERESSE per il tuo lavoro. Ecco... Se c'è una cosa che direi a tutti è: "Siate più curiosi! Avrete la possibilità di scoprire tante cose belle e interessanti".
- Se dovessi definire Les Petits Joueurs in tre aggettivi, quali useresti?"Pop, elegante, originale."
- Chi è la donna-icona di LPJ?“Una donna che non è alle prime armi con la moda. Che la conosce, l'ha già vissuta e la maneggia con dimestichezza. E' una persona che ama osare. Non è un caso che il nostro mercato principale sia asiatico: lì vedi alcune donne che ti lasciano a bocca aperta. Le guardi e sono un quadro! Anche se mixano colori che sembra non stiano bene insieme, nel contesto sono perfette. La mia è una donna che non ha paura di sperimentare.”
- Come si porta una borsa LPJ?“Sono molto felice quando vedo una borsa Les Petits Joueurs indossata come la indosserei io – ci confessa Maria Sole Cecchi – sono spesso vestita di bianco e di nero, una mise versatile che si abbina bene a tutte le mie bags. Personalmente mi piace essere neutra proprio per mettere l'accento sulle borse che da sole creano un outfit. Però, è anche vero che amo molto chi mixa LPJ, giocando con il look e con i colori. In entrambi i casi, una cosa è certa: le clienti che portano una delle mie creazioni si sentono molto osservate e ammirate. Sono borse che piacciono e si fanno notare.”
- Quale consiglio daresti a un giovane stilista che vuole fare questo lavoro?“Di essere sempre super positivo, di amare ciò che fa, cercando di adattarlo al mondo in cui si vive. Non si può andare avanti con i paraocchi senza capire la realtà che ci circonda e senza tenerla in considerazione nel proprio lavoro. Aprire gli orizzonti e lavorare sodo, sodo, sodo. Dalla mattina alla sera, senza lamentarsi e senza scoraggiarsi. Con energia. Tanto ci sarà tempo per riposare!”
- Nelle creazioni attuali di LPJ, quanto è rimasto di quel gioco e di quella Maria Sole che 4 anni fa creava la sua prima borsa?“Tutto. Per fortuna! Tempo fa ho sentito una frase che mi ha fatto riflettere molto: le persone più interessanti sono quelle che conservano nella loro serietà e maturità lo stesso spirito che avevano da bambine. Ecco, quando io creo le mie borse lo faccio esattamente in questo modo, mi diverto tantissimo. E spero di non perdere mai questa indole fanciullesca!”
