Life in plastic is fantastic! my signature on Vogue, February issue

Qualcuno di voi se n'era già accorto, ma io stavo aspettando di vederlo con i miei occhi. Ed ora ecco: nome, articolo e breve biografia. E... sorpresa! questa termina specificando che "ho un blog in cui mi diletto a scrivere di cucina e viaggi! Quindi, in qualche modo, anche il piccolo grande The Travel Eater è finito stampato sulle pagine patinate della rivista di moda più influente al mondo. Son soddisfazioni ;) !
Yes: the article I wrote for VogueEncyclo (the interactive project by Franca Sozzani - master editor of Vogue Italia - which provides a real online encyclopedia dedicated to fashion, costume, cinema, photography, architecture and characters of fashion system), about plastic materials, has been published in the February issue of Vogue.
Some of you had already noticed it, but I was waiting to see it with my eyes. And now here is: name, article and short biography. And. .. surprise! These ends my bio "she has a blog where she enjoy writing about food and travel"! So, somehow, even the little great The Travel Eater is finished printed on glossy pages of the most influential fashion magazine in the world. That's a satisfaction! ;)

Da buona globe-trotter adoro essere comoda quando viaggio senza rinunciare ad un po' di stile. Sono quindi un appassionata della moda in plastica: è (spesso) economica, ironica e divertente. Nonostante ciò se ne colgo le contraddizioni e l'ambiguità - e di questo parlo nel breve articolo.
As every keen globetrotter I love to be comfortable when I travel but I don't want to give up be stylish. I am a plastic lover: it is (often) cheap, ironic and funny. Nevertheless if I take it the contradictions and ambiguities - and I speak about them in this short article.

D'estate le ballerine Kartell mi hanno accompagnata ovunque (per non parlare delle Havaianas: alzi la mano chi non ne ha un paio!), non c'è niente di meglio per i viaggi in aereo! E da agosto posseggo anche questi fantastici sandali Furla - che mi hanno accompagnato anche alla Vogue Fashion Night Out di Milano: che mi abbiano portato fortuna? (in quell'occasione ho conosciuto anche un sacco di blogger!)
La Candy Bag fucsia invece è il regalo che ho fatto a mia sorella per la sua laurea e la grande borsa azzurra è una Furla vintage di mia mamma: me la ricordo ancora nei nostri vecchi viaggi marini ;) !
Spero che vi capiti tra le mani un Vogue a pagina 262 (così per caso eh..!) e che mi pensiate ;) !!

In summer my Kartell ballerina took me everywhere (and Havaianas too: up your hand if you do not have a pair!), there is nothing better for a comfortable travel by plane! And from August I also have these fantastic Furla sandals - they accompanied me even during the Vogue Fashion Night Out in Milan: are they my lucky charm? (During that occasion I also met a lot of bloggers!)

The pink Candy Bag instead is the gift that I did to my sister for her graduation and the big blue bag is my mum's vintage Furla: I still remember our old trips at the seaside ;)!
I hope you'll have soon in your hands a Vogue iusse on page 262 (just by chance ...!) ;)!
