Lights and shadows / luci ed ombre

Oggi è un bellissimo giorno di quasi estate.
Alcuni problemi di salute che riguardavano mio marito e mia figlia sembrano essere chiariti.
Le ombre che si proiettavano sulla vita del nostro baby-nipote in arrivo sono dissipate. Erano ombre ingiustificate originate da un medico che ha dato più importanza ai dati inseriti in un computer che alla vera realtà.

C'è voluta la forza della tecnologìa visiva degli ultrasuoni per dissipare le ombre.
I miei controlli medici sono andati a buon fine, è tutto invariato rispetto all'anno passato.
Invariato è la parola diagnostica che chi si è ammalato di tumore desidera leggere nei suoi referti medici.
Il mio pensiero oggi va a tutti coloro che stanno guardando il mondo dietro la finestra di una stanza di ospedale. Per qualche giorno è toccato anche a Danilo, mentre Voghera era semideserta per il lungo ponte della festa della Repubblica. I fiori dei tigli nei viali solitari, senza traffico, hanno reso l'aria profumata, come in un sogno.

Abbiamo bisogno di luce dentro, di chiarezza, di andare incontro alla vita con ottimismo e con forza.
Dipingere ancora una volta è stato per me il momento di comporre luce ed ombra cercando una forma di armonia dove il colore riesce a riunire ed a superare ogni cosa.

Today is a beautiful day, like summer.
Some health problems that concerned my husband and my daughter seem to be clarified.
The shadows that were projected on  life of our incoming baby-grandchild is now clarified. Shadows were unjustified originated from a doctor who gave more importance to data placed into a computer than true reality.

My checks went well, all unchanged from last year.
Unchanged is the word that I want to read in diagnostic medical reports.
My thoughts today go to all those who are looking at the world behind a window of a hospital room. For a few days it happened also to Danilo, while Voghera was empty, during long weekend holiday for Republic Day. The flowers of linden trees, in empty roads, made air fragrant, as into a dream, without car traffic.

We need inner light and clarity, to meet life with optimism and strength. Painting once again was time for me to compose my inner lights and shadows, looking for harmony where color can unite and overcome everything.
