It all started accidentaly.I bought a reflex, spending too much and knowing that, as in all the things I have, I would abandon it after a month.What happened afterwards, it shook me as well; I remember spending my summer afternoons taking photographs in my house, I was the only available subject at the time, on the other hand no one would have bet 1 euro on me, I couldn't blame them.
Tutto cominciò per caso.Comprai la mia reflex, spendendo una follia e consapevole che, come in tutte le cose che ho, l’avrai abbandonata dopo un mese.Quello che accadde dopo, sconvolse anche me; ricordo che passavo i miei pomeriggi estivi a scattare fotografie nella mia casa, l’unico soggetto disponibile allora ero io, d'altronde nessuno avrebbe puntato un 1 euro su di me, come dargli torto.
In the beginning, I didn't know what I really liked yet, which style would have identified me, but with time everything changed, to search inside one's self, it's a fundamental element in photography, it's what makes us different from the others and what makes our photos unique, today I am proud to have found my way.
All’inizio, non sapevo ancora cosa mi piacesse davvero , quale stile mi avrebbe identificato ma con il tempo tutto è cambiato, la ricerca di se stessi, è un elemento fondamentale nella fotografia, è quel qualcosa che ci distingue gli uni dagli altri e che rende le proprie fotografie uniche ,oggi sono orgogliosa di aver trovato la mia strada.
Photographing people is what I really like, what they tell us is different every time and capturing all the different shades is the challenge.My shots are overwhelmingly surrounded by light, it is lifeblood for me, I couldn't be without it; I hate planning photos, when I do that accidentally, nothing good ever comes out from it, so I adopted a tecnique based on improvisation, risky, but for now it has always saved me. Fotografare le persone è ciò che mi piace in assoluto, quello che trasmettono è diverso ogni volta e catturare le diverse sfaccettature è sempre una bella sfida.
I miei scatti sono prepotentemente avvolti dalla luce , per me ninfa vitale, non potrei farne mai a meno; Odio programmarmi le fotografie, quando per sbaglio lo faccio, non esce mai niente di buono, perciò ho adottato la tecnica dell’improvvisazione, rischiosa, ma per il momento mi ha sempre salvato.
In this year and a half I have tried everything, starting from digital which is the safety of us "photographers" to film which represents a question mark each time, but it is wonderful to find out what the results will be.I always hope that looking at my photographs it is not only a body that is caught in them, but that one can go past that with the mind.
In questo anno e mezzo ho sperimentato di tutto, partendo dal digitale che è la sicurezza di noi “fotografi” all’analogico che rappresenta ogni volta un punto interrogativo , ma il bello è proprio scoprire cosa ne uscirà fuori.Spero sempre, che guardando le mie fotografie non ci si fermi solo ad un corpo, ma si vada oltre con il pensiero.
