Frida Giannini always impresses me a lot. Even this year, she got to create an amazing line for the Spring/Summer 2012.
I tipici capi in stile Gucci sono stati reinventati fino a dare vita ad una collezione architettonica: la designer ha detto di essere stata ispirata da Man Ray e dai suoi ritratti di Louise Brooks e Nancy Cunard. La silhouette è molto affilata (la adoro) e i colori dominanti sono il nero, il bianco e il verde smeraldo con qualche tocco dorato.
The pieces in the typical Gucci style were reinvented in order to give life to an architectonic collection: the designer said that she was inspired by Man Ray and his portraits of Louise Brooks and Nancy Cunard. The silhouette is very sharp (I love it) and the predominant colors are black, white and emerald green with a few golden touches.
Amo il fatto che la tigre sia stata inserita in alcuni dettagli della collezione (sapevate che la tigre è il mio animale preferito?) quali anelli e braccialetti. Mi sono veramente piaciute anche le borse: forma morbida, angoli in metallo e una catena come manico.
I love the fact that the tiger was used in a few details of the collection (did you know that the tiger is my favorite animal?) such as rings and bracelets. I really liked the bags too: soft shape, metallic corners and a chain used as handle.
