New Entries in my House

Given the freezing weather of these days, my desire of springtime is definitely increased. Since I don’t have (yet) the power to influence seasons J, the only way I have to simulate spring in my house is with a lovely bouquet of flowers! Visto il clima gelido di questi giorni, il mio desiderio di primavera si è notevolmente accentuato. Poiché non ho (ancora) il potere di cambiare le stagioni… l’unico modo che ho per far si che nella mia casa arrivi un po’ di primavera è con un bel bouquet di fiori!
Last Saturday I was hanging around in the city center and I bumped into the Vincenzo Dascanio’s shop in piazza Missori in Milan. I love that shop because is really astonishing! When I can, I’m used to stop by and watch the shop windows, with all those floral decorations and particular objects. Lo scorso sabato mentre ero in giro in centro, mi sono imbattuta nel negozio di Vincenzo Dascanio in piazza Missori a Milano. Adoro quel posto perché è un’autentica meraviglia per gli occhi. Sono solita passare e godermi lo spettacolo delle vetrine ricche delle mille composizioni di fiori e oggetti particolari.
Having considered my purpose to find a fresh decoration for my house, I decided to step into the shop and find something catching my attention and, of course, my taste. There were so many objects and flowers that it was almost impossible to make an easy choice among all those things. After half an hour visiting all the shop rooms, I finally took my choice and here is the result: Dato il mio scopo di trovare una fresca e piacevole decorazione per la casa, sono entrata nel negozio e sono andata alla ricerca di qualcosa che catturasse la mia attenzione e il mio gusto ovviamente. C’erano così tante cose e composizioni floreali che è stato difficilissimo arrivare ad una scelta. Dopo una mezz’oretta spesa facendo un giro nel negozio, alla fine sono riuscita a trovare quello che cercavo an ecco a voi il risultato: Two vases, one small and one medium, with these nice and delicate floral arrangements J Once at home, I showed my husband my shopping and he curiously appreciated it ;), although he immediately compared my two new vases to two naval mines :/ Due vasi, uno piccolo e uno medio con una delicata composizione floreale. Una volta a casa, ho mostrato i miei acquisti a mio mio marito che stranamente ha apprezzato lo shopping fatto ;) anche se ha immediatamente associato i due vasi a due mine navali :/ …And this gorgeous dog-Terrier money box, we named Kevin. …E questo splendido salvadanaio a forma di dog Terrier che abbiamo chiamato Kevin.
Ps: if you have planned to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a romantic manner and you are still looking at a small present for your partner, in my opinion the best gift is a nice flower. It doesn’t matter if a rose…or an orchid or any other type of flower, it’s up to you… but there isn’t a better way to say I Love You! In Vincenzo Dascanio’s shop, I saw a really nice and elegant gift-idea that I would like to suggest you: Ps: se avete in programma di festeggiare in modo romantico San Valentino e siete ancora alla ricerca di un regalino per il vostro partner…secondo me la soluzione ideale è un bel fiore… una rosa, un’orchidea, scegliete voi… ma per me non c’è modo più romantico di dire Ti Amo con un fiore! Nel negozio di Vincenzo Dascanio ho notato delle simpatiche ed eleganti proposte floreali che mi sento di suggerirvi: An heart with inside one or some roses…simple but a big effect! Un cuore con al suo interno una rosa o più rose… semplice ma di grande effetto
