Oscar 2016: trionfano Spotlight, Leonardo DiCaprio e Ennio Morricone

Si sono conclusi a Los Angeles gli 88ª Academy Awards che hanno visto trionfare il dramma d’inchiesta di Tom McCarthy, Il Caso Spotlight, come miglior film dell’anno. La pellicola interpretata da Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Mark Ruffalo, Liev Schreiber e Stanley Tucci ha vinto inoltre il premio per la miglior sceneggiatura non originale.

Dall’Australia con furore, è Mad Max: Fury Road a dominare l’edizione. Il cult di George Miller, dall’imponente connotazione da blockbuster, ha conquistato sei Oscar, tutti tecnici (migliori costumi, miglior scenografia, miglior trucco e acconciatura, miglior montaggio, miglior montaggio sonoro, miglior sonoro), che confermano quanto il lungometraggio sia frutto di un lavoro collettivo e di un eccellenza totale messa in campo in ogni comparto realizzativo.

Ma a tenere banco agli Oscar 2016, insieme alle logiche lobbistiche che da sempre aleggiano attorno alla manifestazione, è il fenomenale Leonardo DiCaprio che dopo sei nomination all’attivo è stato insignito (finalmente) della tanto agognata statuetta per l’intensa interpretazione in Revenant – Redivivo, film che ha permesso a Alejandro González Iñárritu di aggiudicarsi per il secondo anno di fila l’Oscar per la miglior regia.

Un coro infinito di applausi ha accompagnato l’arrivo sul palcoscenico del maestro Ennio Morricone, premiato dall’Academy per la miglior colonna sonora di The Hateful Eight di Quentin Tarantino e visibilmente commosso.

A sorpresa, sbaragliando la concorrenza e sovvertendo i pronostici iniziali che vedevano favorito Sylvester Stallone (Creed), il riconoscimento al miglior attore non protagonista è stato assegnato al britannico Mark Rylance per la sua performance ne Il Ponte delle Spie di Steven Spielberg. Previsioni rispettate sul versante dei premi femminili: Brie Larson e Alicia Vikander hanno ricevuto l’Oscar, rispettivamente per le interpretazioni in Room (miglior attrice protagonista) e The Danish Girl (miglior attrice non protagonista).

Inside Out, il capolavoro diretto da Pete Docter e Jonas Rivera e prodotto da Disney Pixar, è stato eletto come miglior film d’animazione, mentre Il Figlio di Saul di László Nemes ha ottenuto il premio per il miglior film straniero.
