Il Parco Fluviale Gesso e Stura è il più importante scenario verde della città di Cuneo.
Istituito nel 2007 con lo scopo di proteggere e valorizzare il territorio fluviale compreso tra i corsi Gesso e Stura un tempo piuttosto degradato, comprende attualmente una decina di comuni ed una superficie di 4500 ettari.
Il parco oltre che polmone verde è importante anche a livello sociale perchè concentra su di sè diverse attività aggregative, pedagogiche, turistiche e sportive.
Anche in inverno, quando la natura riposa sotto lo strato di neve, il Parco Fluviale diventa un luogo silenzioso, quasi magico, incantevole ed ideale per una ciaspolata a due passi dalla città.
The River Park of Gesso and Stura is the largest green scenery in Cuneo.
Established in 2007 with the aim of protecting and enhancing the area between the rivers of Gesso and Stura, one time fairly degraded, it currently comprises ten municipalities and an area of 4500 hectares.
The park as well as the green lung is also important on a social level because it focuses on himself several group, educational, tourist and sports activities.
Even in winter, when nature rests under the layer of snow, the River Park becomes a quiet place, almost magical, charming and ideal for a snowshoe hike at few steps from the city.
