ENG - Autumn is back, finally. This means I can dig up from the closet my favourite basic garment: denim jeans! Lately I have literally hunted that kind of modelling hefty jeans. But it seems that in Italian shops there is no trace of such a rare item.  Nowadays jeggings have taken over , even in the plus-size aisles of stores and boutiques, in spite of our need to shape our curves. Every time I try on a pair of jeans they happen to be either too large and loose or skinny but with a too soft texture – not to mention all those times that I can’t find trousers in my size. Yeah, it’s been a while since the last time I wore a fabulous pair of comfy, flirty jeans, and I was about to lose hope. That’s why I have nearly ran out of trousers. Unfortunately, I don’t feel really comfortable with purchasing trousers at online store, although there’s quite a good selection at New Look and Yours Clothing.

IT - Finalmente l’autunno è tornato. Questo significa che posso rispolverare il mio capo basic preferito: i jean! Ultimamente ho dato letteralmente la caccia a quel genere di jeans modellante e corposo. Ma sembra che nei negozi italiani per taglie comode non vi sia più traccia di questo rarissimo indumento. Oggigiorno i jeggings hanno preso il sopravvento, sì anche nei reparti plus-size dei negozi, magazzini e boutique, a discapito del nostro bisogno di modellare per benino alle nostre curve. Ogni volta che provo un paio di jeans, li trovo o troppo larghi oppure, skinny ma con un tessuto troppo cedevole – senza contare le innumerevoli volte in cui non trovo la mia taglia. Beh, ne è passato di tempo dall’ultima volta che ho potuto indossare un bel paio di jeans comodi e avvolgenti e… sì, stavo per perdere ogni speranza. Infatti, sono quasi rimasta a secco di jeans. Purtroppo non mi fido molto ad acquistare i pantaloni negli shopping online, sebbene ci sia una vasta scelta da New Look e Yours Clothing.
