Present simple : to have

IL VERBO AVERE : TO HAVEIl verbo avere può essere usato come ausiliare per la formazione dei tempi composti come il Present Perfect o il Past Perfect ma anche come verbo vero e proprio e può avere con se la particella got.
Si usa have got per parlare:
•Di possesso :    I have got two dogs
•Per descrivere l’aspetto fisico : Has she got curly hair?
•Della propria famiglia : She hasn’t got any brothers and sisters
•Di malesseri o malattie: I have got a terrible headache

L’uso di got è obbligatorio nelle forme contratte : He’s go ta moustache
ma non si usa nelle risposte brevi: Have you got a sister? No, I haven’t
Il verbo avere si può trovare nelle seguenti espressioni che non richiedono l’utilizzo di got:
To have a breakfast/lunch/dinner…                     to have fun/a goodtime
To have a shower/ a bath/ a wash                         to have a party
To have a trip/journey                                           to have an argument
