If you live outside the Uk you may have not heard so much about the Queen's Diamond Jubilee - a long week end of events in June - that celebrates the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II accession to the throne on 6th Febraury 1952. Over the year she has been looked from a fashion point of view, and praised, for her pastel suits and her hats; this time the best boutiques and shops in London are celebrating the Jubilee and using it as a marketing tool. Harvey Nichols recently unveiled its latest window display 'The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Windows' with ''a vintage 1950′s feel about them to reflect on the era of the Queen’s coronation while also referencing this season’s ladylike fashion,” says Janet Wardley, Harvey Nichols’ Head of Visual Display.
