Rebel whit style

Mi hanno regalato da poco un bellissimo libro intitolato “Ribelli con stile. Un secolo di mode radicali” scritto da Matteo Guarnaccia, un famoso storico del costume, nonché uno dei primi hippie italiani. Il libro, in realtà, non fa altro che analizzare tutte le varie scene creative giovanili, con un forte accento sullo stile dei diversi gruppi. Così, visto che venerdì 8 ottobre si è tenuta una grossa manifestazione contro i tagli alla scuola, non solo ho partecipato ma ho fotografato i presenti, in modo tale da farvi conoscere le varie “controculture” giovanili presenti sulla scena oggi. Mi scuso per la qualità, ma sono state fatte in movimento, con una macchinetta digitale compatta,e, come se non bastasse, sotto la pioggia. Spero che apprezzerete lo stesso, appuntamento al prossimo post!

My brother has given to me a wonderful book entitled “Rebel with style. A thousand of radicals fashions” written by Matteo Guarnaccia, a famous costume historian ,and also one of the first Italians hippie. The book analyzes all the various creative scene, with a strongly accent on the style of a different group. This Friday in Turin there was a great demonstration against the new school reform, so I have decided to participate and also to photograph the people, for let you know the different “countercultures” of our days. I’m sorry for the quality of the photos, but I have done in movement, with a low quality digital camera, and, if it was not enough, under the rain. I hope you will appreciate the same, see you for the next post!
