SAG Awards 2016, le nomination

Uno dei periodi più interessanti e pieno di discussioni dell’anno, per tutti i cinefili, è senza dubbio l’Awards Season! La stagione dei premi 2016 è infatti partita ufficialmente, con la lista delle nomination per i 22° Screen Actors Guild Awards, annunciata quest’oggi, e anche “Ieri, Oggi, Domani” è pronto!
Il Vice-Presidente esecutivo del SAG-AFTRA Gabrielle Carteris ha introdotto gli attori Anna Faris e Anthony Mackie al ‘Pacific Design Center’s SilverScreen Theater’ a West Hollywood. Il sindacato statunitense degli attori è ormai un riferimento nella Awards Season e da queste candidature, ma soprattutto dalla cerimonia di consegna che si svolgerà il prossimo 30 Gennaio 2016, potremo trarre indicazioni anche per i Premi Oscar. Da dire, inoltre, che altri film annunciati dai più come possibili favoriti non sono tra i nominati ai SAG 2016, probabilmente per una semplice questione di ritardi nella presentazione del lavoro concluso alla critica o comunque al ‘circuito’ che seleziona i film nelle varie premiazioni. Stesso problema che potrebbe verificarsi per le nomination ai Golden Globe, del resto. Ma in queste candidature ai SAG non mancano le sorprese: peccato che alcuni di questi titoli li vedremo in Italia solo nei primi mesi 2016, e quindi il commento sulle varie performance si possa basare solo sulle recensioni estere, statunitensi soprattutto.
