Sono stati assegnati nella serata di domenica gli attesi Mtv Movie Awards 2012, i premi sui migliori film dell'anno appena passato scelti da noi.
La serata era attesa da una grandissima sfida tra 3 delle saghe più importanti degli ultimi anni (Twilight, Hunger Games e Harry Potter) , a spuntarla è stato però quella più giovane ovvero Hunger Games, il film tratto dal romanzo di Suzanne Collins ha portato a casa ben 4 categorie tra cui i premi ai migliori attori.
Soddisfazione per The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn parte 1 che si consola col premio maggior (Miglior Film) nonchè il premio per il miglior bacio tra Kristen Stewart e Robert Pattinson.
Lo sconfitto della serata è stato Harry Potter e i Doni della Morte parte 2 che ha vinto si 2 premi, ma non proprio importanti come il Miglior Eroe ed il Miglior Cast.
La serata sarà però soprattutto ricordata per la spettacolare preview de Il Cavaliere Oscuro - Il Ritorno presentata da Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Gary Oldman e Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
