Le "statement necklaces" sono le ultime entrate nella cerchia dei gioielli grandi ed appariscenti, ma senza dubbio sono anche tra le più trendy ed apprezzate: ormai si trovano praticamente ovunque e a qualsiasi prezzo, ed hanno conquistato il cuore anche di coloro che inizialmente le guardavano con diffidenza (della serie: ma dove potrai mai andare con una collana stile Maria Antonieta?).
Un'esempio? La mia amica B: si è sempre dichiarata contraria a tutto ciò che è troppo grande e vistoso, ma quando le ho fatto provare le collana che vedete nella foto (un pezzo di vero vintage, tra l'altro) si è dovuta ricredere!^^
Certo non sono sempre semplicissime da abbinare, ma basta seguire qualche regola base per ottenere un bellissimo effetto.

Indossate le collane grandi e luccicanti con i colori neutri Anche un modello di design rosso cremisi riesce ad apparire sofisticato se abbinato ad un semplice tubino nero, oppure una collana di turchesi darà il meglio con una camicia bianca sopra un paio di jeans L'importante è che il vestito sia semplice ma dal taglio curato, così la collana lo completerà e richiamerà l'attenzione sul vostro stile Con un top con una stampa animalier o a pois, per esempio, sarà invece meglio evitare collane troppo vitose: appesantirebbero inutilmente il vostro look e si confonderebbero
Le perle di grandi dimensioni o le collane di diamanti andrebbero sempre indossate con un' abbigliamento elegante. A meno che il modello del gioiello non sia davvero stravagante o estrememente contemporaneo, rischierebbero di apparire fuori luogo con gli abiti di tutti i giorni
Le collane ampie ma molto accollate (le bib necklces per intenderci) dovrebbero essere indossate con camicie e giacche dall'abbottonatura alta ma con il colletto basso Altrimenti il rischio è quello di lasciare dello spazio tra il fondo della collana e la parte superiore della camicia Questo è un look "più pulito" e non avrete la necessità di sistemarvi i vestiti per tutto il giorno

Statement necklaces are the latest entries in the circle of big and flashy jewelry, but they are certainly among the most trendy and popular: now you can found them almost everywhere and at any price. They have won the hearts of even those who initially looked at mistrust!
An example? My friend B: she was always opposed to anything that is too big and flashy, but when I convinced her to try the necklace in the picture (a piece of real vintage, by the way), she has had to change her mind! ^^
Of course these necklaces are not always simple to match, but just following few basic rules you can easily get a beautiful effect.

Wear a bright, chunky necklace with neutral colors. Try an abstract, 3-D design in crimson to compliment a simple black dress and tights or a thick turquoise necklace along with a white peasant shirt on top of jeans. Your outfit should be comfortable and simple, but the necklace will help to dress it up and draw attention to your excellent fashion sense. If you’re wearing an animal print, for example, or a polka-dotted pattern on top, you’ll want to keep yourself from looking too “busy.”

Always wear a large pearl or diamond necklace with elegant clothing. Such extravagant jewelry will look out of place when combined with everyday garb, so if you want to show off your brand-new gems, try making reservations at a fancy restaurant and slipping on your nicest heels before heading out.

Bib necklaces should be worn with high-cut but low-collared shirts and jackets. Otherwise there will be an inch or two of space between the bottom of your necklace and the top of your shirt. It’s cleaner looking and you won't feel the need to adjust your clothes all day.

Don’t wear more than one big necklace at once. Several is unnecessary; a good, chunky necklace will attract compliments all by itself. Additionally, do not pair a big necklace with a scarf or any other variety of neck wear. Even if you’re trying to make a grand statement, that kind of over accessorizing is rarely a good idea.

Be cautious of sloppily made, cheap-looking necklaces. These are tacky and make you seem careless about how you present yourself. As a general rule, you should avoid large necklaces with words hanging from them (“love”, for example, or “best friends forever”) if you want to stay fashion-forward.
