Come avrete capito dall'immagine precedente questo mese io e Laura abbiamo deciso di incentrare l'appuntamento mensile con style bits su uno dei colori più in voga questo autunno: il bordeaux.
As you may have guessed looking at the image above, this month me and Laura decided to focus our monthly "Style Bits" on one of the main colors for this fall: burgundy.
Sarà che è un colore relativamente semplice da portare, sarà che sta bene (quasi) su tutto, sarà che è molto elegante sia per il giorno che per la sera... fatto sta che ultimamente su internet e per le strade pare non vedersi altro che bordeux su abiti, gonne, pantaloni, borse e completi maschili (ecco, magari questo sarebbe meglio evitarlo).
Maybe it's because it's an easy color to wear, maybe it's because it looks good (almost) on anything, or maybe it's because it is very elegant both for the evening and for the daytime... but burgundy is really everywhere: if you take a look on the streets, and on the internet, you will see it on dresses, skirts, trousers, bags and even on men's suits! (well... we'd like not to see it on men anyways!)
Indossare il bordeaux in autunno è piuttosto semplice l'importante è non abbinarlo a colori molto brillanti.Non è terribile l'abbinamento maglione bordeaux+gonna rossa creato dalla ragazza della foto precedente?
Meglio puntare su colori neutri come bianco, grigio, jeans, nero (come insegna Jane Lane!) e accessori dorati.
Wearing burgundy in autumn is very simple, just be careful and don't match it with bright colors! Isn't that burgundy sweater + red skirt (worn by the girl in the image above) terrible? We think it's better to choose neutrals, as white, gray, black and jeans, with golden accessories... as Jane Lane always does!
Se volete provare questo colore ma non siete convinte possa starvi bene fate un giro da Zara.
