The Exquisite Style

Vogliamo conoscere di persona Cathrine Baba. Camminare con lei per le strade di Parigi, e perche’ no essere invitate a casa sua per scoprire i suoi tesori vintage, i suoi tacchi ed i suoi immancabili turbanti. Ci siamo documentate, ed abbiamo capito che ama la vita tremendamente e questa forse e’ la chiave del suo essere cosi inusuale in tutto quello che fa. Infatti riesce ad essere contemporanea pur non seguendo tutti i trend, e facendo, forse, solo cio’ che le piace veramente.  I suoi lavori da stylist sono assolutmante originali ed unici nel suo genere; emozionano. I vestiti diventano veramente protagonisti e capaci di raccontare storie e momenti ben precisi perche’ finalmente  sembra esserci una vera cultura sia dell’immagine, che della storia della moda legata evidentemente ad una vera passione.

We would love to meet Cathrine Baba, walk with her around the streets of Paris, and why not be invited to her house and discover her vintage treasures, her heels and her inevitable turbans. After reading about her, we understood that she really loves life and this maybe the reason why everything she does is absolutely not usual. Maybe she only does what she really likes, but even without always following the trends she knows how to be contemporary and up to date. Her works as a stylist are extremely unique and they know how to capture the reader’s eye as the clothes actually become the real protagonists capable of telling stories. It seems that finally,  there is a real knowledge of images, a real knowledge of the history of fashion and of course e a real true passion.

Tutto questo e’ frutto di una nostra mini ricerca. Abbiamo voluto raccontare le nostre sensazioni perché troviamo affascinante quando una persona riesce ad incarnare e giocare il proprio ruolo così’ bene. Pensateci, come ve la immaginate una amante della moda, che lavora in questo mondo da anni e che ha un ego evidentemente incontenibile? Noi esattamente come Cathrine Baba.

All of this we wrote after a personal research. We wanted to share our feelings because we find it fascinating when someone is capable of playing its role in such a fantastic way. Think about it, how would you imagine a true fashion lover that has worked in that world for years, and that has an immeasurable ego? We,  exactly like Cathrine Baba.
