Throwing Up
What they do is simply punk. Dirty, fast, angry. But for some reason I cannot stop listening to them. A part of me is raising an eyebrow to the primitiveness of their song, another is fascinated by the raw energy they communicate. Check it out yourself:

The history of Apple Pie
I’ve seen these guys opening the concert for Anna Calvi. I came halfway through the set but they immediately got me with their very tight sound.
The History of Apple Pie were playing some good old grunge, but they were doing it pretty good. When I say grunge don’t think of Nirvana but more of Dinosaur Jr. and other noise pioneers, with their fuzzy guitars and voices that can sound so innocent and profound only when you’re at the college.
This is their single, “You’re so cool”…see you on saturday!
