6 Nations U20: Scozia-Irlanda, le formazioni

La Scozia U20 comincerà venerdì sera da Cumbernauld (Broadwood Stadium, kick off 8.30pm) il 6 Nations di categoria ospitando l'Irlanda.

Dei 23 scelti dall'head coach Sean Lineen, 16 sono prodotti della BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy e altri sette hanno esperienza internazionale di categoria.

" Ireland are going to be physical and astute, and we'll have to be at the top of our game to match them in all facets. However, we're going to relish in the challenge and we look forward to doing so in front of our home support, " ha detto Lineen al sito ufficiale della Scottish Rugby.

Robbie Nairn partirà all'ala, uno dei tre giocatori del XV titolare che non gioca in BT Premiership - è, infatti, tesserato con gli Harlequins - mentre gli altri due sono nel pack - in seconda linea c'è Alex Craig (Gloucester) e in prima George Thornton (in forza al Bishop Burton College, prestigiosa scuola dell'East Riding of Yorkshire, in Inghilterra).

Capitano sarà Callum Hunter-Hill, mentre in terza linea gioca Matt Fagerson, fratello di Zander che è stato invece inserito nel gruppo di Vern Cotter.

" As is the nature of Under-20's rugby, there is fresh look to the side, the majority of the guys haven't played at this level before however many have gotten good game time with their provincial A teams in the British and Irish Cup this season, so that should stand to them," ha detto l'Head Coach dell'Irlanda, Nigel Carolan.
