This late seventies parallel twin of only 391cc was turned into a real classic race replica, while maintaining the aesthetic features of a refined and exclusive custom build. The distinctive element is definitely the skin-tight fairing with its sexy shape, so tight that it had to be worked to make room for the curves of the exhausts pipes. These were designed with longer ducts compared to stock in order to optimize the torque and with a path aimed to minimize the front section of the motorcycle. The mufflers were built in a combination of stainless steel and carbon fiber. The result, as in most of An-Bu builds, are the slim, stylish and aggressive lines of the bike and the top view of the silhouette reminds a medieval sword. And that’s what the pilot gets just before riding the bike. The engine was tuned with increased compression, ported and fluxed head. The dashboard was re-engineered with the relevant instrumentation of a racing bike. The front fork is from a Yamaha TZ racing, as well as the rear shocks. The custom swingarm is bigger than the stock one to fit larger racing tires. The alloy rims are Yamaha. Finally, to underline the racing look the bodywork is painted vintage racing satin red. Beautiful.
Questa twin di soli 391cc di fine anni settanta è stata trasformata in una autentica replica di moto da corsa, pur mantenendo le caratteristiche estetiche esclusive di una raffinata trasformazione custom. L’elemento distintivo è sicuramente l’attillatissima carena dalle forme quasi sensuali, talmente attillata da dover essere lavorata per lasciare spazio alle curve dei collettori di scarico. Questi ultimi sono stati progettati con un allungamento dei condotti per ottimizzare la coppia e con un percorso studiato per minimizzare la sezione frontale della moto. I terminali sono stati realizzati in una combinazione di acciaio inossidabile e carbonio. Ne risulta, come in gran parte dei lavori di An-Bu, una linea snella, elegante e aggressiva e la sagoma della moto vista dall’alto ricorda una spada medioevale. Ed è la vista che ha il pilota quando monta in sella. Il motore è stato preparato aumentandone la compressione, lavorando la testata e lucidando i condotti. La strumentazione, reingegnerizzata, è quella di una moto da gara. La forcella anteriore è di derivazione Yamaha TZ racing, come gli ammortizzatori posteriori. Il forcellone artigianale rinforzato ha misure maggiorate per accogliere pneumatici più performanti. I cerchi sono Yamaha in lega e tre razze. Infine, a sottolineare l’aspetto racing concorre la verniciatura satinata rosso corsa e i loghi vintage degli sponsors. Bellissima.
