Eccomi di nuovo in Olanda dopo aver passato qualche giorno con la famiglia in Italia! Devo dire che questo Natale mi è piaciuto particolarmente.. buon cibo (che ve lo dico a fare?), buona compagnia e, senza sembrare troppo venale, regali azzeccatissimi :D come è andato il vostro? Ora, dopo il trauma del ritorno, è iniziato il faticoso riadattamento alla cucina estera. La pizza è troppo cara, troppo asciutta.. i salumi troppo affumicati, non ci sono i sottaceti se non cetriolini e cipolline, il sugo spesso sa di tutto tranne che di pomodoro.. insomma, TRAUMA!! E non lo dico io per essere l'italiana di turno che critica, anzi colui che ne sta risentendo di più è il fidanzato olandese al 100%, per cui c'è da riflettere.. ma a parte questo, ora sono in piena fase creativa per il cenone di capodanno. Quest'anno ho deciso di non fare la tradizionale pasta con il salmone, ma mi sono buttata su gnocchi al ragù e macaroni cheese (trovate la ricetta qui), insieme ad altre mille cose che vi mostrerò nel prossimo post! Purtroppo per motivi di tempo non sono riuscita a postare molte ricette a tema, ma prometto che dall'anno nuovo tornerò a scrivere più frequentemente.. E voi avete programmi? Che menù proporrete, qualcosa di tradizionale o andate sull'etnico (io farò il sushi usando un attrezzo che mi è stato regalato!)? Fatemi sapere e... I have to say that i liked in a particular way this Christmas.. good food (it goes without saying), good company and, without seeming too venal, very well-chosen gifts :D how did yours go? Now, after the trauma of coming back, the hard readaptation to foreign kitchen began. Pizza is too expensive, too dry.. salami and ham are too smoked, there are not pickled vegetables except gherkins and small onions, tomato sauce often tastes like everything but tomato.. in conclusion, TRAUMA!! And i don't say it just because i am italian and i like to complain, the one who is suffering about it the most is my 100% dutch boyfriend, which makes you think.. but moving from that, now i am in a full creative phase for New Year's Eve. This year i decided not to make the traditional pasta with salmon, but i will cook gnocchi with ragù and macaroni cheese (find the recipe here), together with tons of other things i will show you in the next post! Unfortunately due to time i couldn't make many themed recipes, but i promise that since the new year i will write more often.. And what are your plans?
