AMD ha reso disponibile la revision 11.6 dei propri driver Catalyst, compatibili con schede video delle famiglie Radeon HD a partire dalla serie 2000.
Tra le principali novità implementate segmaliamo la tecnologia AMD Steady Video, grazie alla quale la riproduzione di flussi video che sono stati ripresi con videocamera non perfettamente stabile e quindi presentano numerose oscillazioni viene resa stabile e fluida in tempo reale.
Troviamo anche varie ottimizzazioni prestazionali, con incrementi generalizzati su vari titoli per le schede della famiglia Radeon HD 6900 e Radeon HD 6800 rispetto a quanto messo a disposizione con i driver Catalyst 11.4. Il download per sistemi operativi Windows 7, Vista e XP è disponibile al sito ufficiale, in release a 32bit
e a 64bit.
