In febbraio sarà pubblicato negli USA il nuovo lavoro di Kate Avery Ellison, già nota per la saga distopica YA The Frost. Il nuovo libro si intitola Of Sea and Stone e parla di un luogo magico dove il cielo incontra il mare, al di sotto del quale si dice abitino persone che vivono nell’oscurità delle acque in un luogo segreto e che possiedono inimmaginabili tecnologie. Ehm, sì, però sono qui per mostrarvi, in realtà, la splendida copertina! Eccola, insieme a trama e note sull’autrice.

ITA – Sinceramente, non è stupenda? Non fosse che la trama è già interessante di suo, inserirei il libro in wish list solo per la splendida copertina e sono molto felice di essere stata scelta, insieme ad altri blog, per mostrare in anteprima la cover. ITA - Per tutta la vita, Aemi è stata schiava a Village of the Rocks, un luogo dove si incontrano mare e cielo. Ha sentito le storie sulla leggendaria Gente del Mare, un popolo che possiede tecnologia inimmaginabile e vive sotto le onde, nel buio, in luoghi segreti sotto il mare. Ma non si è mai sognata che quelle storie fossero vere.
Quando una nave esce dal mare e gli uomini bruciano il suo villaggio, Aemi viene catturata e reso schiava sotto le onde a Itlantis, un mondo pieno di antiche città di vetro e metallo, giardini galleggianti e dispositivi meravigliosi che sembrano funzionare per magia. A peggiorare le cose, la sua nemesi del villaggio, il figlio del sindaco l’altezzoso Nol, è stato catturato con lei, e sono diventati servi nella stessa casa sotto il mare.
