E' una tecnica che richiede l'utilizzo di un attrezzo particolare, un estrusore per pasta polimerica. Scegliendo uno dei dischi, con dei fori multipli, si inserisce la pasta all'interno e si ricavano dei fili. Con questi si crea la spirale.
