A fare da anticamera degli Oscar, come da consuetudine, i Golden Globe, che ne sono anticipatori e, per noi infausto pubblico italiano, fanno aumentare l'attesa verso titoli che nelle nostre sale ancora devono arrivare.
Carol, The Revenant, The Big Short, Joy oltre a Spotlight, Anomalisa e The Danish Girl (questi ultimi visti a Venezia) sono infatti i film da segnare, che fanno incetta di presenze nelle varie categorie, consegnando alla Lawrence la sua ennesima nominations, così come alla Blanchet.
Redmayne potrebbe spuntarla nuovamente e fare doppietta? La Vikander imporsi da danese sulle altre? O Di Caprio aprirsi la pista per la statuetta? E Kaufman il primo a vincere la statuetta con un film di animazione vietato ai minori?
Il responso vero arriverà solo il 10 gennaio ma quello che più conta, arriverà quando finalmente potremmo vedere tutti questi nomi su grande schermo.
Nel frattempo, con l'esclusione di Non essere cattivo dalla cinquina finale dei film stranieri, non resta che fare il tifo per Sorrentino e il suo Youth in gara per l'attrice non protagonista e la canzone scritta da Morricone.
Passando invece al piccolo schermo, grossa delusione per i fan di Mad Men, che dopo la sua conclusione conquista la sola nominations a Jon Hamm, a favore di Empire e di Outlander e dei più amati Mr. Robot e Narcos.
Nelle miniserie, svetta Fargo, la cui seconda stagione deve in realtà ancora concludersi.
