[Haul + Swatches] Essence New-Ins.

  [IT] Piccolo haul Essence per voi oggi, featuring alcuni prodottini acquistati da OVS (scavando come al solito tra gli stand devastati da "clienti" impazzite) un paio di settimane fa. Niente nuove collezione quindi - per ora - ma spero comunque di darvi qualche idea!   [EN] A little Essence haul for you today, feat. some products I purchased at my local OVS a couple of weeks ago. Le STAYS no matter what sono le nuove matite ombretto jumbo proposte da Essence, che promettono una tenuta fino a 24h (chiaramente non testata) e colori vibranti. Ho provato un classico beige dorato, ideale come base da usare quotidianamente per un look naturale, in 07 Whipped White Frosting, e un viola con leggeri shimmer in 02 Powerful Purple. Come ho detto, non so come possano essere dopo 24 ore, ma sicuramente reggono egregiamente per una intera giornata di lavoro. Sono entrambe abbastanza morbide, senza però sciogliersi appena swatchate, permettono di essere lavorate per circa 30 secondi prima di asciugarsi completamente e fissarsi sulla palpebra. Sono disponibili in altre 6 colorazioni, tutte molto carine, quindi magari ne prenderò ancora un paio. Per il prezzo (€2.99) e la resa, assolutamente consigliate.
  Si può dire lo stesso anche per la Long Lasting eye pencil, la matita con punta retrattile, scelta in Bling Bling, un bel color bronzo. Anche in questo caso, la resa è intensa e la tenuta è altrettanto buona, soprattutto considerando il paio di euro che si spendono. Apprezzo molto il fatto che abbia la punta retrattile, e che non sia quindi da temperare ogni volta; la matita è molto scrivente e abbastanza morbida da non risultare aggressiva sulla palpebra (soprattutto su quella inferiore).
[EN] The first two items I'm very thrilled about are the STAYS no matter what jumbo shadows. I purhcased 07 Whipped White Frosting, a nice golden beige, and 02 Powerful Purple, a vibrant shimmery purple. They're both pigmented in one swipe and they lasted a long time on me. I don't know if they actually stay put for 24 hours, but they remain the same for at least 8 hours. They're soft but not too much at the point they melt super easily, and they don't set straight away, so you have 30-ish seconds to blend them in if you want. They have 6 more shades, if you want to check them out, and they cost €2.99.   I also got one of the Long Lasting eye pencil in Bling Bling, a nice bronze colour, which I'm very pleased with. Again, the staying power and the colour payoff are extremely nice, especially for the price, and the fact that it's a twist-up pencil makes me appreciate it even more. I find it to be very soft and not harsh at all on your lash line.
  [IT] Ed eccoci arrivati ai due prodotti che, invece, non mi hanno esaltato molto, o meglio, fifty fifty: i pigmenti Vero è che ne ho provati solo due, quindi non posso parlare troppo in generale, ma tant'è. Tra le 23 tonalità disponibili, ho scelto Studio 54 e Pure Love. Il primo sembra essere un oro antico con glitter olografici all'interno, ma, una volta applicato, il colore non si trasferisce per niente e rimangono solamente i suddetti glitter. Meh. Su una base scura potrebbe creare un effetto interessante, ma se progettavate di utilizzarlo da solo, ve lo sconsiglio ampiamente. Pure Love si salva un po' di più, lo ammetto; si tratta di un color oro rosa/rame, abbastanza carino. Lo so, per €1.99 mi sono lamentata fin troppo, però mi aspettavo davvero un payoff migliore. Non ho ancora provato le nuove linee, ma ho letto diverse recensioni e probabilmente acquisterò qualcosina. Vi terrò aggiornate! :)   Qualche haul recente? I know, I've only purchased two out of the 23 shades they have, so I might just have picked the wrong ones, but here's my two cents on them anyways. I got Studio 54, which is the most disappointing one, and Pure Love, on which I'm still a little bit undecisive. Studio 54 looks like a very nice antique gold in the jar with holo glitters, but once applied you only get the glitter. It might look nice on top of a dark base, but that's not what I bought it for. Meh. Pure Love is better, at least you get some colour payoff when you apply it. It's a rose gold/coppery shade, nice but not a must-have.
