Per Natale mia zia ha regalato a me e mia sorella un volo lowcost per una destinazione a scelta: non poteva pensare un regalo migliore, ovviamente!
Così, nell'entusiasmo io e mia sorella abbiamo selezionato delle città europee in cui non eravamo mai state. Le tre finaliste erano: Barcellona (ebbene sì, non sono mai stata a Barcellona!!), Vienna ed Amsterdam. Dopo una piccola ricerca sui costi e sul periodo in cui avremmo potuto tutte e due concederci un viaggetto, è stata eletta la capitale Olandese.
Quindi Amsterdam: here we come!
For Christmas my aunt gave me and my sister a lowcost flight to a destination of our choice: she could not think of a better gift, of course!
So, my sister and I, full of enthusiasm, selected European cities in which we had never been. The three finalists were: Barcelona (yes, I've never been to Barcelona!), Vienna and Amsterdam. After a little research on costs and time when we could both afford a trip, was elected as winner, the Dutch capital.
So Amsterdam here we come!

Now, I've never been in Holland, or in Amsterdam. We already have the flight from 5th to 8th of March and the hotel is Amsterdam Downtown Hotel.

Chiedo a voi un aiuto: qualcuno di voi è mai stato ad Amsterdam? Sapreste consigliarmi, per esempio, dove poter mangiare bene? O qualche posticino tipico? Dove fare shopping? Quali sono le cose da non perdersi? Cosa portare assolutamente con sè?
Per ora mi hanno detto solo che farà molto molto freddo: mi confermate??

I ask you to help: any of you ever been to Amsterdam? Can you advise me, for example, where to eat something good? Or some typical niche? Where to go shopping ? What are the things not to miss? What to bring with us absolutely?
For now I have only heard it will be very very cold: do you confirmed me??

The pictures I posted are the ones that I preferred among those I found on Flickr (I had selected a few more, but the photographers fees have not responded to my email :(. You can see them here). What do you think? Will I be able to equality?:) I can't wait!!
