La moda in Italia è sempre stata un fiore all'occhiello.
Le zeppe erano utilizzate per le rappresentazioni greche, ma divennero scarpe utilizzate dalle donne durante l'epoca romana. Pensate che oggi indossare una scarpa tacco dodici sia una novità...ebbene no. Le matrone indossavano scarpe con zeppe fino ai 15 cm. A prova di equilibrista!Nel rinascimento erano usate in tutta Europa ma si chiamavano pianelle. Divennero calzature più usate nel XVI secolo. In un primo tempo sia uomini che donne le usavano, ma poi agli uomini ne fu vietato l'uso.
Negli anni '40 Salvatore Ferragamo, noto nome della moda italiana, le produsse in sughero rendendole un accessorio molto in voga per le attrici del grande schermo.
La moda è fatta da corsi e ricorsi e riapparvero come scarpe per i figli dei fiori negli anni Sessanta e Settanta. Fiorucci ne face di vari modelli. Nei brillanti anni Ottanta scomparvero quasi completamente lasciando posto agli scaldamuscoli ma le zeppe son tornate! I grandi Marchi fra cui Prada le hanno trasformate in veri e propri accessori esclusivi! Che storia dietro a queste scarpe e se non vi dispiace le definisco italiane ad honorem. In ogni caso l'estate si avvicina e le vetrine si riempiono di modelli...mi sa che è ora di lasciarvi per andare a fare un po' di shopping!

Fashion always has recurrent cycles for this reason zeppe appeared again in '60s and '70s with the Hippies. . Fiorucci has created many models. In the brilliant '80s they were almost completely disappeared, but "zeppe" are back! The big fashion brands such as Prada have transformed them into exclusive accessories! So much history behind these shoes! Anyway if you do not mind I define them Italian products. In any case, summer is coming and the shops are full of many models ...so shopping time!
