Sede di eccezione per una mostra che ha dato più del previsto (ci sono stata questo venerdì) : al Forte di Bard, in Val d'Aosta - in un bel borghetto della Val d'Aosta - è ospite L'homme qui marche, mostra dedicata ad Alberto Giacometti, autore dell'omonima scultura.
Inutile (?) dire quanto coerente sia alla sede 'di montagna' l'idea dell'uomo che cammina rievocata dall'opera dell'autore. Uomo che cammina e nient'altro, per davvero, uomo che cammina ridotto 'all'osso', ridotto a lunga ombra, a figura quasi astratta, per quanto scolpita nel bronzo, con le mani - con la forza delle mani.
Ed è con le ombre e con le sagome incerte e allungate frutto del genio di Giacometti che io ho voluto giocare, grazie alle luci e alla mia macchina fotografica.
Exceptional location for an exhibition that has given more than expected (I was there this Friday): at the Fort of Bard, in the Val d'Aosta - in a pretty village of Val d'Aosta - is the guest is L'homme qui marche, an exhibition dedicated to Alberto Giacometti, the author of the homonymous sculpture.
It is useless (?) to say how consistent is the mountain location with the idea of man who walks, evoked by the work of the author. A walking man and nothing else, really, man walking reduced to 'bones', reduced to a long shadow, a figure almost abstract, despite it's sculpted in bronze, with his hands - by force of hands.
It is with shadows and uncertain and elongated silhouettes made by the genius of Giacometti that I wanted to play, thanks to the lights and my camera.

Meglio delle mie, sono certamente le fotografie che aspettano i visitatori all'uscita della mostra. Stupendi i ritratti dell'artista (all'opera e non) e le reinterpretazioni delle opere - uscite, o non ancora entrate nei musei - ritratte 'in natura', permettendo all'homme qui marche, finalmente, di intraprendere una strada di campagna di cui non scorgiamo gli estremi.
Certainly better than mine are the photographs that are waiting for the visitors at the exit the exhibition. The portraits of the artist (at work and not) are beautiful and the reinterpretations of the works - exited from the museums or not got in, yet - portrayed 'in the nature', allowed the homme qui marche, finally, to undertake a country road which we don't see the extremes.

L'ho lasciato per ultimo, l'homme qui marche dalla prospettiva in cui si scorge il passo. Critico all'istallazione di non aver sfruttato appieno il gioco di ombre che l'opera permette (cosa invece ben valorizzata per le opere tenute al Pompidou di Parigi, di cui vi mostrai già la fotografia nel mio primissimo post), ma in generale si tratta si una bella mostra. Oltre alle sculture che ho ritratto, ci sono moltissimi ipnotici bozzetti, un filmato e un tablet che permette di consultare un favoloso librone contenente tutti i disegni dell'autore dedicati a Parigi.
Belle anche le frasi riportate sui muri delle sale, ad accompagnare il percorso. Ve ne riporto una, in chiusura.
I left as last, the homme qui marche from the perspective that let you see the pitch. I criticize the installation of not exploiting the games of shadows that the works permits (it's well valorise at the Pompidou in Paris, which I already showed you the photograph in my very first post), but in general it is a fine show. In addition to the sculptures that I have portrayed, there are many hypnotics sketches, a movie and a tablet to allow easy access to a fabulous big book containing all the drawings by the author dedicated to Paris.
Also the phrases on the walls of rooms are very illuminating, to accompany the course. I'll quote one on them, in closing.
