Una linea di abiti iper-femminili che raccontano lo sbocciare di una nuova femme fatale grazie a pagode incrociate a trapezi, rouches rigidissime montate e dirette in aria come cuspidi e rostri protesi al cielo ma anche abiti origami trasformati in sculture antiche per una donna-statua, un oracolo dorato che vuole raffigurare l’ avvento di nuova età dell’oro.

Prendono così vita capi dall’allure fiabesca realizzati in materiali preziosissimi come pelliccia, mikado, broccato e chiffon completamente ricamati in piastrine di metallo rame ed ottone, ancora intarsiati con pitone naturale per un nuovo ed inedito abbinamento: il broccato foderato in pitone.
I gioielli sono principeschi, quasi onirici, lavorati come nell’alta gioielleria in cascate di pietre, usati in infinite sovrapposizioni: cerchi su cerchi di Swarovski e diademi in perle ed ottone invecchiato. Anche gli accessori seguono la stessa ispirazione e si compongono di cinture obi ricamate, rigide e costruite per segnare una silhouette a clessidra e calzature in camoscio declinate nelle tonalità del verde bosco, glicine-mauve e nero assoluto, anche esse preziosissime di arabeschi dorati e fiori in ottone, miriadi di jais e centinaia di paillettes.

Ethnic influences for a strong mood made of “ancient and precious” materials, the womenswear Fall-Winter 2013-14 collection by Gabriele Fiorucci breaks the schemes and presents a new “Dea”.
A strong and overflowing woman, an untouchable woman, away from everything and everyone, who takes a stand watching the world from afar and lives in it with a perspective of absolute and anarchic beauty. This is the woman’s image expressed by the Fall-Winter 2013-2014 collection by GABRIELE FIORUCCI.
A line of ultra-feminine dresses that tells the blossoming of a new femme fatale thanks to pagodas crossed with trapezoids, very rigid frills direct in the air as cusps and nibs stretching out to the sky but also origami-dresses transformed into ancient sculptures for a statue-woman, a golden oracle who portrays the advent of the new golden age.
Thus born enchanted outfits made of precious materials such as fur, mikado, brocade and chiffon fully embroidered in metal, copper and brass plates, also inlaid with natural python for a new and unusual combination: brocade lined with python.
The jewels are princely, almost dreamlike, processed as in the finest jewelry in cascades of gems, used in endless stacks: circles on circles of Swarovski crystals and tiaras in pearls and aged brass. Even the accessories follow the same inspiration and consist of embroidered obi belts, stiff and built to mark an hourglass silhouette and suede footwear declined in the shades of forest green, lilac-mauve and absolute black, also embellished with golden arabesques and flowers brass, myriads of jais and hundreds of sequins.
