La felpa

La felpa, con zip e cappuccio. Pensate fosse stata decisamente abolita da una moda che vuole porsi come elegante? L' idea era venuta anche a me, però sto un po' rivalutando questo comodo capo. La felpa con cappuccio, che un po' ricorda il saio del monaco del '300, nasce negli anni '30 del secolo scorso per i lavoratori di delle sorte di "magazzini di surgelamento". Per tenere caldo. Ciò non toglie che si possa un po' nobilitare, come anche si sta facendo. Come? Il trucco è in una ricerca di diversi materiali.

Questa qui, ad esempio, è in cashmere. Si trovano di Brunello Cucinelli (col simpatico dettaglio del "pirulicchio" della lampo in pelle, ma tremendamente cara), Ballantyne, Loro Piana, JCrew (questa) e tante altre marche, un po' meno note.

Ancora più alternative sono quelle in chiffon di seta con interno in cotone di Lanvin. Soffici e morbide come della panna, sottili come un foglio di carta. Di uno sportivo raffinato e un po' dandy. Del resto la Lanvin di Lucas Ossendrijver ha fatto della commistione sportwear e lusso, dei materiali nuovi e sofisticati, una firma.
Lanvin does still more alternative ones, in silk chiffon and cotton. They're soft as chantilly cream, thin as paper. A luxury dandy sport; in fact Lucas Osserdrijver at Lanvin worked a lot about the mix of luxury and sportwear, about new materials and tactile sensations.


Lo chiffon dà un effetto decadente/medusa in calore nella manica, molto apprezzabile.
The "decadent"/in heat jelly effect of the sleeve is very nice.
Chiudo, riservandomi un' altra bella felpa per il prossimo post, con una lode, ahimè mai avrei pensato, ad Abercrombie. Ricordate ogni volta che vi ho fracassato i ma**ni (per capirci, gli omonimi del ministro degli interni) esaltando la bellezza della palette di colori di Bottega Veneta? Bene, Abercrombie l' ha copiata spudoratamente rendendola fluo come gli anni '70.
Ma per favore evitate il finto pelo (che animale sarà mai, capra? Unicorno leucemico?) stile tappetino di bagno dentro i cappucci.
Rigorosamente da evitare i colori troppo "normali":
I end with Abercrombie and Fitch. I had never thought about I could do this, but I'm right now!! Do you remember each time I spoke about Bottega Veneta colours' palette? Well, Abercrombie has the same with a '70s fluo touch. But please avoid the faux fur of the hoods (is it faux shearling? leukaemic unicorn?), as the rugs in my bathroom.

Se volete risparmiare un po' c'è Hollister. Il sottomarchio di Abercrombie produce praticamente gli stessi prodotti, che però costano la metà. Come a dire che non si paga la qualità ma il marchio. Niente di nuovo, come scoperta, certo, però...
IF you want to save some money there's Hollister, that is the younger branch of A&F: the price is an half, but the quality (?) is the same. AS to say: just paying the label...
