For the start of MIAMI VICE’s third season in 1986, Ferrari North America provided two Testarossas to replace the Daytona replicas that had defined the show’s first two seasons. Delivered in black, both vehicles were resprayed white for better contrast in the night. Rounding out the fleet was the stunt car, created by the Roberts Motor Co. by beefing up a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera chassis with Testarossa body parts.
