Microsoft has launched its new flagships, the Lumia 950 and the 950XL at an event in India today. The Lumia 950 is priced at Rs 43,699 while the 950XL commands a premium price tag of Rs 49,399.
The Lumia 950 is fitted with a 5.2-inch QHD display and will its power from the Hexa core Snapdragon 808 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with a 3GB of RAM. The Lumia 950 XL will not only sport a larger 5.7-inch QHD display but it also comes with a different SoC in the form of the octa core Snapdragon 810 clocked at 2.0GHz and glued to a 3GB of RAM.
Both the 950 and 950 XL share almost the same innards except for the SoC - the 20-Megapixel primary sensor comes with Optical Image Stabalization, triple LED flash and it supports native 4K video recording. The secondary camera in the form of a 5 Megapixel sensor and both the devices come with an expandable memory card slot and a USB Type-C port. Apart from the Lumia, Microsoft has also pulled the wraps from the Display Dock connector which will play an important role in fostering the Windows 10 ecosystem and enabling the Continuum feature. Both devices have support dual sim. Both Lumia flagship will come in black and white colors
